Crazy PG Dreams thread

I forgot how vivid pregnancy dream can be.

Last night I had a dream that a couple friend of ours had decided to split up and the guy went totally crazy and decided to live as a caveman, complete with a loincloth type thing. I stayed up all night and partied with him but had to be home by 7am so that I would be home before Julia woke up.

LOL! I've also been having crazy dreams. A few nights ago I dreamt that one of my best friends died, along with her husband, leaving their two young children orphans. Very strange. Last night I dreamt that I had twins, a boy and a girl, but I really don't think that is going to end up coming true! A few nights before that, I had a dream that we had a boy; in the dream, he was about 18 months old. It was really sweet, and I felt so much love. I can't wait to actually meet this baby, whoever he/she is. :love

Amy -- sad about the friends! And, so SWEET about the babies! :love When I was pregnant the last time, I was so wondering what kind of baby I had inside. I had this VERY intense dream where I was standing face to face with this little girl. I just instantly fell in love with her. Then, she pulled away and said, "You have to have him to have me!" and pointed to a little boy about 20 ft away. I went and talked to him and he was great, too. Then, I realized I had to go and the little boy said, "Wait! I have to show you something!" And, he ran all the way back to the little girl. They entwined arms and gave me the biggest smile. I wasn't sure what to make of that... but now I'm thinking that little boy might have just been this unplanned pregnancy.

Ok, but now for my weird dream. Last night I dreamt I gave birth to a box of raisins prematurely. I was so sad... will the raisins live? Have they had enough time to gestate!?!? I was really beside myself! I cried.

raisins, huh!?! :LOL I had a twin dream the other night, just that I had an ultrasound and there were 2 babies! I have 2 seperate friends one with twin boys and one with twin girls and I can honestly say I am not woman enough to manage twins, so that was almost a nightmare for me!!!! All this talk of twins around here!

Secretly I fear I just cursed us all with lots and lots of twins... December... the month where everyone on MDC had twins. :LOL

Last night I dreamed that we had a little boy, and he was probably around 6 months old in my dream. He did something that apparently got me all worked up, and I smacked him on the mouth! :bag: DH gave me this look like, "I thought YOU were the one who told me that we aren't doing corporal punishment!" It was rather shocking. I don't know what that's all about.

I cant believe the dreams have started already for me too! With dd I had terrifying dreams that left me traumatized they were so violent, graphic and seemed so very real. More then once I found myself waking up running out the front door in terror (I slept in the buff until then, then after finding myself outside naked I started making sure to wear clothes to bed! lol!)

This time the dreams aren't violent, just weird. Like last night I was madly in love with an androgynous alien and we were snuggling on the couch watching TV (and doing a few other things :D ) and there were people around and it was like no big deal. IRL you'd get some serious attention if you were dating a sexless alien! :LOL

I think i've had really weird dreams every night this week but so far no baby dreams.

So far I've been having very vivid dreams of the world's most mundane things. Going to work. Getting an email from a coworker that sends me 50 emails a day. Watching TV...

lol, could just be my subconscious minds way of working out that this baby was not conceived the old fashioned way and I managed to get prego... utterly and totally.. alone... ok, so I had the 4 yr old pounding on the bathroom door wanting to know what I was doing... :LOL

You want a real laugh? Read my blog (http://mommysatori.blogspot.com) titled "O Week". Need to update it but TTC this cycle was NUTS! I've done insems in public bathrooms that were more peaceful!

I'm so glad your family is expanding. I have to say... I'm bias. I'm an only child raised by a single parent. And, I think being an only child sucks. It's lonely as a kid and it's lonely as an adult.

How did we get onto artificial insemination off of a dream thread!?!? :LOL

I would agree that finding time for sex is a little easier than that... but seriously sometimes I feel we have to almost schedule it.

I was raised as an only too and I agree, it sucked most of the time.

Ok, exactly! Usually I try to stay hush hush about that, because I know a lot of people plan only children round these parts. As an only though I would NEVER do that on purpose! Enough said. My lips are sealed.

I had my first pregnancy dream last week (around 4 and 1/2 weeks). In the dream I was asleep but could feel my uterus cramping. Then I woke up and my midwives handed me a little boy who looked about 6 months old :kid: . He was gorgeous with big blue eyes (neither my partner nor myself have those). Then all these confused and embarrassed feelings hit me and I started to worry that I might have said something horrible during labour but no one would tell me what my labour had been like. I felt really panicked because I thought I should remember but couldn't.

That was dream number one. A few days later I had dream number two and this time it was wonderful. I had the homebirth of my dreams. The dream started right at the end of it all and I had given birth on a birthing stool and my baby was pasted up to me and I checked and it was a girl and I was so happy.

No idea what these mean but I think dream #1 indicates there is some stuff I need to work through!

OMG... last night I had this dream I was being humped by a horse. Nothing like remembering the feeling of a horse penis rubbing on your shoulder to haunt you through the day.

I also had this dream that I had surgery to remove my gall bladder and they forgot to stitch me back up. I kept telling the nurses that I had this huge gaping hole in me and no one would listen.
