a BFP at only 8dpo!!!
This is the craziest thing, I went to my OB for a routine pap yesterday and told her that I was having lots of lower back pain for about 2-3 days this cycle. She said that it was probably not an early pg sxs but since we were TTC that she would do a urine test ( even though I didn't even miss my period yet and I was only 8dpo!!!!!). The strange thing is that I got a BFN that morning (I know a little early to break down and test!) but she said theirs is more sensitive.
So, I went out to the hall to wait for my test results, knowing that it would be negative, and the next thing I know she’s giving me prenatals, Rx for bloodwork and scheduling an appt for a sonogram, all while saying, "the test is positive, congratulations you're pregnant!"
I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face! She told me to be cautious since it’s SO early (I’m just past 3 weeks, AF isn’t even due until this weekend or early next week). I never had a m/c, but I had spotting with DD early on, so we probably won’t tell people until after 8 or 9 weeks when we hear the HB.
This was my first cycle after completely weaning DD, and we "tried" more than other months, so I'm not totally surprised, but very happy!! I get to join this board!
congrats to everyone here!
