Does anyone know of any sites that have free patterns for AG dolls? The little girl I nanny loves her AG doll and I'd love to surprise her with some new outfits! She has Sky from the "hopscotch hill" (?) line. Thanks!

I googled it. Here are several I found.

several dresses

knit poncho

shoes!

knit hat

Knitting and crocheting patterns seem to be easier to find and more abundant. I have to run now.

Hopscotch Hill dolls are smaller than the signature American Girl dolls. They are only 17" tall and are slimmer through the body as well, I believe the body is molded plastic whereas AG dolls are cloth. Patterns for AG dolls are not going to fit HH dolls. Here is an interesting link on doll sizes (http://www.fairylandcreations.com/doll-clothes-sizes-chart/index.asp) that compares the two, plus a couple of others.

I don't have any pattern ideas for HH dolls, I just thought I would point you in the right direction. Good luck!

Coming back to add that some sites say they are 16", some 17". I tried to get into the AG site this morning to see what they say, it didn't work for me.

Here is a sewing pattern line for HH dolls. I know you are looking for free, but the drawings are nice and might give you some ideas.

Jess, some of those links are really nice. We used to be majorly AG obsessed around here, I'm kind of sad my daughter is outgrowing her dolls. :(

If i remember correctly American Girls are 18 inch dolls. One of the sites I found confirms that Hopscotch Hill dolls are 16". I'll see what else I can find. More things I found for American Girls:

Socks!

"Oriental tunic"

The first site in my original post has several patterns that are pretty adaptable. Maybe you could use those?
