Have you all read about that study where women who had people (strangers) praying for them were 50% more likely to conceive? Well, I hate it when I read that AF has come to visit you guys. So I decided to try out that little hypotheses. If anyone would like me to pray for them this next month, let me know. I'm going to make a list and pray for you daily. I'm curious to see how many have success. It just bums me out that I can't help more, but short of coming to your bedrooms and offering personal instruction, their isn't much else I can do.:LOL

Wow, this sure is a success. I wasn't sure how everyone would feel about it, but since I am here everyday (even thought I don't always post) checking in I really wanted to show you how much I am rooting for you.

BTW, I just had my annual exam and I got the okay to get pg while on my antidepressant by my obgyn. I'm not trying yet, but perhaps next spring.

Hello! I am newly registered to these boards (though I've read them off and on for a few months) and I think that this idea is so great! My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 3 months, and I'd appreciate all prayers. You have such a wonderful community here at MotheringDotCommune. :)

I have a regular 30 day cycle, but I'm currently on CD40! I would be really excited, except that I'm still testing negative on HPT's. I'll be calling my doctor tomorrow to ask her if I should have a blood test or just keep waiting . . .

I'll post a message as a new thread as well but I came here first because I think this list is so important.

After three years of trying, I finally got a positive pregnancy test! I just tested again this morning, 12 dpo, and voila. After all this time!

I am not a religious person, but I am spiritual and I believe in the list! I prayed everyday for all of you and I thank you all so much.
This was a cycle without clomid and next month I was starting intrauterine inseminations.

We lost a pregnancy on Dec. 21 and I am now waiting to ovulate. I ovulated ten days after my last m/c (although I realize that was abit unusual) so far no signs. If you could pray my fertility will soon return and then pray for us to conceive and have a healthy, joyous pregnancy that lasts nine months and results in a healthy baby we would greatly appreciate it. I am going to take the list and pray for all of you! Prayer really does work! Wow, four pages on this thread. Does anyone still check it? If so, I'd like to be added to the list please. My ds is 26 months and my AF returned when he was 24 months. Hubby and I can't wait for another babe. It took 10 months to get pg with ds and I'm hoping that it won't take that long the second time around. I have long cycles so it's hard to play the extra long waiting game of every other month instead of every month. My apologies for falling so far behind on the list. My best friends dd had open heart surgery 8 weeks ago, and they recently found out that all is not well and she will need another surgery and a coronary bypass. I have been helping out with her other child as her FIL had his prostate removed last week (cancer) and the grandparents haven't been able to help much. This got put on my back burner and I am sorry.

i went to my mw today, and did a u/s, and there was a pg ring.....:banana she said I'm about 3-4 weeks! I go back in 2 weeks for another u/s to confirm my edd!! I estimate it will be mid-december! I always wanted to be pg during thanksgiving!!!! LOL!!!

Can I ask for some extra thoughts and prayers this month? I am on try #12...month 3 of clomid. But I just got a bill for $270 from my doc for last month's ultrasound...so if I have to pay it(and not my insurance), it will be the last month on Clomid....and then with my irregular cycles when I am unmedicated.....who knows when I will get to try again. I am feeling very disheartened....our insurance doesn't pay for any infertility treatments...so if the clomid doesn't work this month, we are SOL for anything but trying on our own. And so far that hasn't worked at all. I have never been pg, not once, not even a faint +, in my whole life. And I have not been careful. I am beginning to think that there is something very wrong.....
I really just want one of my own. That is all. Just one.

If you have read this far thanks for listening. This was more of a voiced plea from me to the powers that be. I am really down about af this month....:(

Factors:
both working f/t (split shift so DD is in daycare only 6 hours/day)
I'm 38 & healthy (just always tired)
still BF my 22 mo old
3 mos of fertility friend (temping mostly)
2 mos of saliva ovulation kit
gave up all testing & worrying late Nov 02 (holiday stress)
started reading the Bible

I appreciated the information I learned in this forum, I esp liked the book TCOYF (very informative in general but not immediately useful if TTC & BF).

Whew! It really feels good to be posting here again after a long absence. What would I do without the welcome arms of you guys on the Mothering forums?!? Its a dose of comfort in a sometimes weary world...

Anyway, I'd love to be included on the prayer list! After a visit to the "high risk" (pfffft) Ob/Gyn to evaluate my new meds and my health after the MC, I've finally been cleared for TTC! Whoohoo! We'll be starting in May...

We wont be ttc until probably around mid-late summer, but I could actually use all the help I can get just trying to *get* to that point (I'm in the tttc stage, which is pretty massive for a type I diabetic).

Okay, it's updated. I'm so sorry for not being more timely. My dial up sucks to be frank and I have to make sure that I get my boards checked before I get booted off.:rolleyes: Unfortunately, this thread has had to go by the wayside at times. The boards seem to be a bit faster and user friendly for me the past few days so my goal is to update this list as I see a "new" last poster.:love

Sierra, I added you and I to the list as "preparing to TTC." I figure a few prayers in advance can't hurt. I switched to Zoloft a week and a half ago to see if it works and if I tolerate it. I have a Psych appt in three weeks and if all is well, I will start weaning off of it in prep for ttc. Hopefully I will be able to make it the whole pregnancy off my med, but if not, I'll settle for the first trimester. I have my period now and won't be trying this cycle, but hopefully we will my July cycle.

What are you having to do to prepare, Sierra?

Please add me to your list as well. I just joined this forum after my sister convinced me that MDC is not just for moms, but also for those of us who would like to become a mom :) That's me!!!

My DH and i have been trying off and on now for about 2 years.....nothing yet of course. AF just came today as a matter of fact. NOT a good "welcome home" to my husband who just came back from out of town!!

Anyway, i will pray for all of you, please pray for me as well, and hopefully i won't have to get to know too many of you, at least on this thread (i mean that in the nicest possible way, in that all these good vibes will bask results for us all!!)
