I was just wondering what it takes for a thread to become closed or removed. There is a thread in Preteens/teens that, frankly, I'm surprised has been allowed to stay there for 3 days. It is pedophilic and has terms in it that are searchable for any predator who wants to find it. Do we want to provide reading material or kicks for sexual predators? I am just wondering why this thread in particular has been allowed to stay, while others are closed/removed quickly that I see as a lot less harmful. Is it because people have had some fun on that thread? I don't see anything funny about it at all. If there was a first time poster who was posing as a father and talked about the size of his daughter's breasts, would that be allowed to stay? I don't get it.

I have reported this thread/post twice and it is still up. I'm sure I'm not the only abuse survivor who feels violated about having something like this on the board and attracting yet more predators here. Especially in light of what has been going on these last few weeks. :(

Why do you assume it was "allowed"? Are you actually thinking that we want to host such threads?? Based on what you have seen us remove in the past that's a rather farfetched thought. And even worse to think that because some were having fun with the thread we would allow it to remain?

Why not think the best of us and assume that, for whatever reason, the mod, or mods you contacted, did not receive the report?

Please please think better of us. :irked:
