I had these mostly done before Charlotte was born, and my aunt offered to serger them for me. I just got them back yesterday and finished the snaps last night. They look a lot cleaner around the edges than the few I've done with an overlock stitch!

They turned out pretty well, I think. They're definitely usable, at least :)

I'm loving the Poopockets one size diaper. Well, the way they look, I should say. I haven't tried using them yet. They're so pristine and pure looking right now, LOL. So why is it that I feel the urge to dye them? ;) There are three made out of two layers of birdseye pique, two with two layers of diaper flannel, and one made out of one layer flannel, one layer of birdseye pique. I can't wait to try them out!

I really wish I could share some pictures of Charlotte actually wearing the diapers! Stupid perverts out there have made things a lot more difficult, haven't they?

How big is charlotte? What is the fit like? I was just asking about this pattern in another thread, and am curious. I am going to make this pattern for my expected NB, and was wondering about adding snaps to the pattern and how well that works. They look fantastic, though.

Thanks ladies!

Cris, Charlotte is probably around 9 lbs now. She started out at 7 lbs, 4 oz though, and the XS fit perfectly and they still do! The XS's probably won't fit for more than another two weeks, I'm guessing, but they're wonderful. I like them as much as, maybe even better than the one Kissaluvs size 0 I have. The Smalls I made are still pretty big, so I'll probably add some crossover snaps when we get to that point. I just printed the snap templates off the sewdiaper site, traced it on to some quilting plastic and punched holes to simplify things for me :)

I love the pattern though! It's been great!
