handyman wanted

We're looking for a handyman to help us finish renovating our house. My husband has been trying to renovate our house by himself for the last 3 years and it's still not even close to done. Three months ago, I took my newborn and 2 yo son and moved to my parents' house because the house had become an uninhabitable construction zone. We can't really afford to hire a contractor, and besides, my husband flat out refuses to hire one even though at this point, I'd happily go into debt to get this house completed. Due to my relentless pressure and threats, I finally convinced my husband to hire someone to help him. But this guy is so unreliable, it's hardly making a dent in completing this project. PLEASE help me find another handyman in the central NJ area! If you know anyone who's remotely handy, let me know!! We're desperate here!

Thank you for responding! It's been months since I posted that request and am quite pleasantly surprised that someone finally responded. Our house is in Franklin Park, NJ (not too far from Flemington) Please do recommend someone. My husband is still working on it virtually alone and my children and I are still living with my parents, 9 months later. Looking forward to hearing from you!
