I just found out this week that we're expecting our 4th!! I'm a bit overwhelmed (totally NOT planned, so much for NFP, the diaphragm and spermicide, LOL! Apparently DH has superhuman sperm!!) We've got 3 boys, and I'll be quite happy with another but DH is desperate for a wee lassie. My due date is march 25, but I know this baby won't go past Feb, all of my guys were preemies. Right now I'm just praying to stay off bedrest as long as I can (I have preterm labor issues)
Looking forward to spending the next 8 or 9 months with ya'll!

Hey there :wave,
We've chatted over on the yarn board. What a surprise :LOL Just goes to show there are some little ones determined to arrive no matter what precautions you take.
I hope you escape bedrest this time. I don't envy women who have to deal with that. Any chance a cerclage would help?

Congratulations! My edd is March 26, but I was over 10 days late with ds, so I'm thinking April.

:wave We have a determined baby on the way too :LOL I've got 3 girls and am hoping for a boy - if I have a girl and you have a boy, we can just switch, OK :LOL Congratulations, I hope you have an uneventful and bedrest free pregnancy!

Hey Sherri! Sounds like a plan to me, LOL!
Oh, to answer the cerclage thing, for me it's not an option becuase it's not that my cervix is incompetent (in fact, it's so sotrng that it's probably the only thing that keeps babies form coming really early, LOL) but it's that I have an easily irritated uterus that likes to contract very early. So, it's actually quite dangerous to do a cerclage on me, becuase if I continue to contract and have them be effective, I run a good risk of tearing my cervix through the stitch, causing serious harm to my cervix. Bedrest really is the best thing at first, followed by terbutalin, procardia and then ultimately the mag sulfate to stop contractions long enough to let baby's lungs mature.
