HSG this AM...

and the prelim. results were what I had suspected the past 15yrs. My left tube is blocked completely (near the end by the ovaries). I guess I am a little surprised at where it's blocked...I thought the ectopic I had would have been further down the tube...but who KNOWS what is causing the blockage. It could be scar tissue from the surgery...endo...past infection...who knows? I have been cramping all day on my left side and had some really red spotting...guess that's normal though. It's like the contrast went in and it's just sat there all day and caused me problems! LOL!

So...I guess it's a "miracle" I've had two children! Okay...not a miracle...but I've only had a 50% chance of getting pregnant! So I am not sure where I go from here...the OB/GYN will probably contact me next week with his take on the test results. Is clomid an option for me...or is that a silly idea just because a tube is blocked?

So sorry to hear about the blocked left tube! How frustrating! Let us know what the dr says next week. I am wondering whether it's something that could be fixed by surgery? Not sure whether clomid would help in this case, because it would stimulate both ovaries I think.
