Tommorow is day one of Week 6 for me. My bb's aren't very tender- but "seem" to be heavier and maybe a smidge bigger.. I do ALOT of sleeping... and eating... and I have what appears to be the "round ligament pain" mostly on my left side... but that's it. It still feels surreal- and I still feel like this is all psychosomatic, ya know, like I know I am supposed to be this way, so I feel these things.... Am I the only one?
I have my first appointment on next Thursday, which will put me at about 7 1/2 weeks. Do you guys think they will do the heartbeat check already, or will I have to wait till my second appointment for that?
Hi, kellykins. I was so glad to see your post because I was going to post about the very same thing this morning. It looks like you and I have the exact same due date (tomorrow is also 6 wks. for me). I have virtually no symptoms either. Just the very same minor things you described. And I, too, am feeling a bit lost about it!
This is baby #2 for me. With DS, I started getting very nauseated right around 6 weeks. So I'm looking at tomorrow with trepidation. Part of me wants the nausea (for reassurance); part of me is hoping it'll stay away b/c it was SO awful last time. (I wound up losing 10 lbs. before I put on any weight.)
About the heartbeat... If your caregiver doesn't offer b/c it might be too early, it couldn't hurt to try anyway. With DS, my 1st appt. was at 8 weeks. We heard a heartbeat loud and clear. My midwife said he (yes, he!) can't usually hear the heartbeat that early, but my uterus is tipped forward and I was pretty thin (thanks to nasty nausea and diarrhea), so the sound was "close to the surface".

I can totally relate. I think "Am I making this up?" about ten times a day...or more. I constantly wonder because you can't really tell at this point that you're pregnant, especially if you're like me and you are not having morning sickness. I mean, I'm grateful, but its hard to believe its all real.

I'm right there with ya, too! No symptoms at all, not even really tired. Nothing like my other three, so I am freaking out a bit. My first appointment isn't until the 18th, so I've got a way to go, but I hope to hear the HB that day :) I've got holiday next week, so I'm sure all the symptoms will kick in while we're in a cabin in teh middle of the mountains, LOL!

I'm soooo glad Im not alone in this weirdness!
I am hopeful on hearing the heartbeat- my appt is on next Thu, and my weeks start on Tuesdays, so its really in the middle of week 7. I am really quite thin to start with (117 lbs at 5ft6) so maybe they will be able to hear? I hope so!!

Add me to the "oddly no symptoms" club. It bothers me a bit as I had severe morning (actually all day all night) sickness with my DD. Its strange to me that this time I have very mild nausea and just a touch of tiredness. I'll feel better once I hear the heartbeat hopefully this Wednesday. I'm almost 7 weeks...so maybe we'll start getting symptoms later?? Or maybe we're just all incredibly lucky!! lol

I'm so glad to read this thread! I'm 6w3d and I'm also having no symptoms to speak of. My breasts are tender on and off, but thats about it!
I know it seems crazy to wish for nausea, but I would be happier if I just felt a little bit pukey!

today is 6 weeks for me too. So far I have had some heartburn, constipation, and somewhat sensitive nipples. My breasts seem to "bounce" more when I walk, but that is about it. I keep waiting for m/s to come, both dreading it and looking forward to it, so I can "feel" pregnant. I had some pains the other day in my lower abdomen and I was kind of freaking out a bit. I am still not sure if they were round ligament pains or pains from being constipated, but they are gone now. I have an ultrasound scheduled for next thurs to date the pregnancy (got pregnant 1st cycle of BCP) so hopefully I will see the hb and finally feel pregnant. We have only told 1 friend so far and it is killing me not to tell my parents, but we want to wait until 10 weeks....but it is so hard......
Any of you no-symptoms mamas starting to feel symptoms?
Not me. Well, OK, I've had 2 very short, very mild "gaggy" episodes. But I'm even wondering if those were psychosomatic.
I'm trying to stop being such a nervous nelly, but it's hard!

I donno...
I admit it...
I POAS again last night. My dh thought I was crazy. I just *had* to, to prove to myself that it wasnt a fluke! haha!
And of course, it was showing the line before I even put the cap on. (DUH).
:bag:
Anyway, I am starting to get a wierd "reflex" if I eat too much of something- like my throat closes up and wont let an more go down, and if I eat more of it, I sorta gag. That's my latest "trick" this week. :P
I POAS again last night.
:LOL I've been thinking of doing the same thing! I'm so neurotic. Oh well...if it reduces our stress level, it can't be bad, can it?
