Hey everyone. I am joining you. Baby #2 is due March 1st. I am very excited! I have not yet decided where I will give birth. I really want a homebirth, but money is an issue. I luckily live in a state that reimburses for homebirths, but I am afraid that I won't be able to come up with the money in order to be reimbursed. I saw an OB today. He delivered ds and I really like him. I had no problems with having him deliver this baby, but I do have serious problems with the hospital!! However, the OB told me I need to wean 12 mo old ds!!! ARGGG!! No! Do your research!! So, I am taking that as a sign to seriously consider a homebirth. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and join you all.

Welcome! Did the ob say why you need to wean? I am still bf my 22 month old and my midwife just said I should double up on my prenatal vitamins.

Yeah, he said it will cause a miscarriage. He basically told me that I HAD to wean. He made it sound like it was life or death. I did research it and could find nothing to substantiate his claims.
