I hope this story dosn't make any one think poorly of me, but I've been giggling about it all week.
My dh and I have been having problems With his ex for a few years now. No matter how bad things get we have really tried to let things slide for my dsd sake. The important issues will hopefully be taken care of with a mediator as soon as we can afford the help.
So, during one of their many disagreements the other day, my dh was feeling exceptionally hurt by his ex's accusations and demands. Feeling overwhelmed, by his bad feelings about the over all situation of the last 10 years of dealing with her, he felt it was finally time to take his revenge.
He tried to controll his urge to lash out, but to no avail. The anger was just too strong.
So he did the unthinkable!
THE UNFORGIVABLE!
He blurted out the end of "Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince".
I have not felt so at peace with our situation before this. I can't feel a single bit of anger about it anymore. After years of meditating on how I could let go of my ill will towards the situation. I think I finally did it. I can't think of the situation without smilling. Not because he got some revenge, but because of the laugh my dh and I shared when he told me the story. It was so mean, but so stupid at the same time.
My only worry is if I can read the next book before she does.
Thanx for letting me share my story. :bouncy
