Do you think you're carrying a boy or a girl?

Well, we won't be finding out until the baby is born anyway, but my dh strongly suspects a boy (we have 2 girls now). I'm not sure - I think this baby is different somehow just due to how my body is responding (different symptoms than the other two). So I think that it's either a boy, twins (that's what I'm hoping), or that it looks a lot more like my side of the family (the other two take after dh). I think the latter is the most likely.

We've always wanted 3 kids, and I had a strong premonition early in my pg with ds1 that I was going to have 3 boys. Well, 2 down, 1 to go (IMO). I don't think dh is capable of making X spermies. :LOL

I think maybe girl as so far this pregnancy is very different than my pregnancy with ds. We wont know for sure until he or she is born though :love

I'm thinking boy as of now. We may not find out until the baby is born, so we've got lots of time to speculate! The reason I'm leaning more towards a boy now is that I am having a hard time imagining this baby to be a girl, and also we cannot agree on a single girls name! LOL! I had a premonition type dream when I was about 14 weeks pregnant with my dd that she was a girl. Before that I didn't really know what to think. I feel very similar to how I felt when I was pg with her though, if that means anything.

I had the same feeling as you, KKmama, but I had a feeling I would have 3 girls. But I'm already wrong, because we've decided to only have 2! Unless of course, it's twins. Yikes.

It says girl again for me. It was right the last three times. I also think it's a girl because I'm gagging alot but no pukie. With my boys it was pukie all the time.

Right now, I'm leaning towards boy, just because I had a dream when I was 3 weeks along in which I was told "Here's your boy". And then I started searching my body for him and told the spirit, "Prove it". :LOL We'll see in April...........

I think it's a boy because we did the BD on day of conception and boy sperm are faster swimmer's than girl sperm, but we also did the BD 5 days before. So, I'm giving it an 80% of boy and 20% chance it's a girl. I did that chinese lunar thing and it said girl. So who knows. My dh might get his wish of a girl. :thumb

PinkPixie I love the gender charts..........It was right with my first 2 and wrong with my 3rd. I am hoping it is right this time because my DH and I really want a girl to even things out.

OK, I chose Girl for no other reason than that we already have a boy! We aren't going to find out until the little bean takes a breath of fresh air, and we really don't care.

I 'fear' twins, as I am older (36) and my grandfather is a twin. Of course, we'd adjust to the idea of twins (YIKES!!!!) and surely feel very blessed, but crossing fingers for a singleton!

I'm not voting yet. I'm not sure. I new my first was a girl before the ultrasound. I don't know how...I just did. I also knew that I was pg this time w/in a couple of days after I conceived. Weird. So, I'm waiting until I have a feeling either way.

I think it's a boy because this pg feels totally different from DD. I have not had the severe morning sickness or aversions (smell) I had w/ her pg. But to tell you the truth, I thought DD was a boy all along so what do I know? :LOL

I putting it out in the universe that this one will be a girl. We only plan on 2 kiddos, so I would love to have one of each. The Chinese calendar said GIRL, we will see.

I always thought that people who said they just "knew" they were pregnant after BD were ridiculous. However, I had a really crazy experience right after we BDed. I felt all sparkly and like something was different. Then I dreamt of having a baby girl all night.

I used to think people who said that were crazy since often you dont actually conceive until days later. However, my lama (buddhist teacher) told me that the buddhist teachings say that the consciousness enters the man's central channel and then comes into the woman with the sperm. It waits there for the egg. So while I did not actually conceive until 2 days later, I had the feeling of that consciousness.

Again, I am not into that new age-y stuff, but it really happened to me! So I trust that women's intuition thing more which will hopefully help me at our homebirth.

We'll see if its a girl or not ;) Maybe I'm full of it.

Ok, I voted boy before...but now I don't know anymore! LOL! I still think I might be having a girl since I feel the same as I did with my dd...honestly I think I have NO clue. :LOL I just keep saying I think its a boy to make my DH feel better (he thinks I want another girl so I can convince him to have a third eventually). We have officially decided to find out if we can...so only 13 weeks until then!

Well I'm hoping girl! DH wants to stop after this one if we have a boy & I'm not ready to say this is my last baby. However, either way I'll be happy and I have to say I love the surprise ending!

I am guessing boy since we already have 2. Most people in my family have all of 1 gender. My mil had 2 boys, her brother had 3 boys, my cousin had 3 girls, my sil has 2 girls and I have 2 boys. I wouldnt be at all surprised if I am carrying twins though and then I think i'll have a boy and a girl. My dad was a fraternal twin and has a twin sister. I am due the day before his birthday and he swears I am having 2. With my higher hcg levels and very early BFP, I wouldnt be surprised LOL.

so far, I am guesing boy. Not sure why -- just see myself with another son. Yet, I was CONVINCED our 2nd was a boy as well, and she surprised us to no end and came out a sweet little girl! I felt great my whole pregnancy with our first (boy), pretty awful first tri+ of our second pregnancy with #2 (girl), and so far this pregnancy (7 weeks), I am feeling mediocre at best. It will be interesting to see! And we are waiting until birthing day to find out!

I would be VERY shocked if this was a girl. Early in my PG with DS #1, I had a dream about 2 little boys about 1-2 years apart playing in the sand. DS 1 looks like the older one. The spacing is about right. Also, my belly is getting the little blond "fuzz" that I got with DS. Chinese chart says boy too, but it was wrong with my son.

With my son I has virtually NO negative pregnancy symptoms. Although my symptoms this time are just like the ones I had with my daughter (even more extreme), I had a vision of a little boy wanting to join our family a month or so before I got pregnant. So, I'm saying Boy, but little girl names keep coming into my head. How's that for ending up with a non-answer! :LOL

I'm leaning that way lately... although, the day AF was due, I dreamed alll night long about baby boys! It was so funny.

I've had two dreams about babe--- on about birth, and one silly one last night, and both times, it's been a girl!

I heard that if your leg hair grows faster, it's a girl... and MS is often a girl... I have both! :love

the chinese calender was wrong with my ds. so i put not faith in that. but, if there is any truth to the myth that craving salt during pregnancy means your having a boy......then this one's definitely another boy. as far as me having a feeling on the subject....i have no clue.
