So, I live in a fairly warm and HUMID area (well, at least in July and August outside of Philly it's really hot and VERY humid). It's driving me crazy! I'm so nasty and miserable, and sweaty and...
Is anyone else more bothered by the heat, now that you are pregnant? Or is it just me? DH is a rail, so it doesn't bother him, and that really annoys me, too. See, I told you I was miserable. And now that the m/s is setting in...ugh.
I shouldn't really complain, today isn't so bad, and we actually got to go spend time at the park this morning and neither of us were soaking wet when we left!

Sorry it's so h&h where you are, jenais. I live in the southwest and until the day before yesterday it was over 100 degrees, and I was majorly crabby! But at least we're not in our third trimester-as I was with dd #2 a couple of years ago-that really bites!

me too! me too! i live in florida and since being pregnant i'm finding the heat unbearable. it usually doesn't bother me but its like my body can't accomodate for the heat. it makes me miserable. :irked: at least fall will be coming soon. until then i'll stay in the air conditioning as much as possible. :D

sm'sm-just curious-whereabouts in Florida, if you don't mind my asking? We were very close to relocating there, but opted for CA instead, and I grew up there. I miss it a lot!
Here's to crisp autumn mornings...

jenais, I also live in the Philly burbs! i actually ventured out for a walk last night, since it was, what, like 10 degrees lower than it's been? yeah, well, it must have taken me an hour PLUS a cool shower to feel somewhat normal again! :LOL
but yeah, i have to say, the Sat after I got my bfp i went for a walk and got overheated... so i would have to count myself in for heat sensitivity from this pregnancy!

I must say we probably have nothing on Florida in the humidity department! And I've heard the SW is an oven.
Yep, not a summer person...Give me October all year 'round.
it hasn't been too bad here. I live in the mountains in North Carolina. It's gets hot...high 70's and 80's but very little humidity because of the altitude. I love it!! It gets really cool at night~60's which is perfect for sleeping

Yes, I think I qualify for the hot club! My body temp is up more than 2 degrees from pre-PG, and I feel it the instant I'm in the sun. Luckily I'm in Maine, and although it gets hot, this week it's been getting down to the upper 50's at night - thank goodness.
However, with my PG#1, I was preggo through the winter (as I will be this time) and I froze my husband out of the bedroom as I had to have the skylight open all night (even those many-degrees-below-zero night!). He's not looking forward to it (although I'm going to be happy tosee fall arrive!)
Cool thoughts!

I am so miserable. We live in Georgia and it is so humid. I can't even leave he house without feeling awful. I can not wait until October. Untill then we will be doing a lot of indoor activities.
