Hi! We cosleep with our 2 1/2 y.o. daughter and 11 month son. They have a "room" but there is no bed or crib in there. Is there anyone else who doesn't have any bed set up specifically for the children (other than the family bed that is?)
Amy :)

Both of my kids have beds now, but they both didn't when they were younger (DS got his last spring at 2.75 years--- he still doesn't *use* it).

Anna has her own room with a crib, but she has only napped in there a handful of times. The cat sleeps in the crib alot though :LOL Luckily, we didn't buy the crib, it was a gift. I felt like I needed to have that for her before she was born, now it seems like a waste of time and $! I still think its probably not that bad of an idea for them to have their own beds just so you don't have to deal with people's questions when they come over. I get really sick of explaining that she 'still' sleeps with us. :irked:

Arabella naps in her crib in her room during the day, she is co-sleeping with us at night. So yes, she has one - but only for naps. :wink

my dd Hypatia has a crib with pretty butterflyies and flowers on the blanket/sheets and also tons of clothing, a play mat, her old car seat, some rags, and papertowels stored in it. Her bassinette served a similar purpose. I wish that we had spent the $$ on a king sized bed b/c she will prob be in our bed for a while, but the crib turns into a toddler bed so maybe it will get some type of use.

ds has a crib. He takes his naps in there. He also goes to sleep much earlier than dh and I so we put him in the crib, then dh brings him to our bed when I go to sleep.
