Levels??????

So I found out that my levels were 1173, does anyone know if that is were they should be for being 6 weeks along.

What did the person say to you when you got them? I'm sure they would have told you if they were concerned. I do know that one HCG level by itself doesn't tell much, you need to see if they are increasing like they should. If your OB/midwife thinks that this level was fine they may not do another one though. If you aren't sure if the # is ok, why don't you call your provider's office?

like rebecca said you need more that one level. The level you did have is good for 6 weeks but seeing if it is rising appropriately is a better indicator!!

There's a really wide range of beta levels for specific weeks of pregnancy...the important thing is that they double in a 48 hour period of time. Has your provider ordered a second blood draw for 2 days later?

Hi girls..........
those are the only levels that my PCM gave when I went into get the ok to see my midwife. My midwife is having me get blood drawn today and Friday so I guess I will know then. The only reason I was asking was because when I spoke with my PCM on the phone he assumed I was only 3 weeks along when he looked at my levels then I told my last LMP and he said UMMM.......Ok then you are almost 7 weeks. It was just the tone of voice he had that got me a little worried but I got a hold of him last night and asked him about it and he said that they were where they should be :love . I am always and wreck the first few weeks of pregnancy. But I seem to be an even bigger freak this time around because of all the cramping I had been having the past 2weeks but that seemed to stop yesterday, so I am hoping everything is ok.
