Does anyone have a source for online finger puppet patterns (felt maybe and easy)? I'd like to make some for my son for Christmas. I was also thinking of making him a few masks of different animals somehow, I don't know if I would use an elastic around the back or put them on a stick to hold up in front of his face, perhaps with tails for behind. Anyone have ideas?

Thanks!

Around our house, masks are a good craft, but not much fun for play and dress up. For that the kids prefer to use face paint, since it doesn't obscure their vision. Also, there seems to be a great need to have a tail, and ears. We have a set that came from the drugstore, and the tail is just a long thin triangle of fabric with a loop of elastic to put around the tummy. It has been popular with all three of my children, so it must be the perfect design. The ears are on a plastic hairband.

Thanks for the idea of just ears! That is great, and will be much easier to make!
