Good day,

This is my first child, and first pregnancy. So I bet you all can imagine all the questions I'll be asking, and the highly confused manner I'll be asking them in.

I will be seven weeks this Monday. Slightly confused on the conception date thought, as it was about 5 days after my mens had finished. But, hey, I have a beautiful little baby inside of me growing now, so it's all good.

I took an at home test, followed by another, when my breasts became growing spaceheaters and my sex drive went away. Just over a week later I went to the emergency room on the advice from a local OB I had called. I was experiencing very sharp pains, that at sometimes brought me to my knees. They were worried that I had a pregnancy outside of the uterus.

Seven hours later I find out I have a cyst thats causing the pain, I'm five weeks, three days.. and I had my first UTI ever. I also found out that I am not RH-. It was also brought to my attention that the baby did not have a heartbeat yet, and should have one by the end of the sixth week. Hoping everything is ok. :heartbeat :1praying:

I've been looking into midwives and OB clinics... trying to figure out what is the best for me.

I've also been reading on another forum about mental health and pregnancies, as I have been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, and am deeply wondering how it will affect the child in my womb. I have undergone intensive therapy that had enabled me to be stable. I still do have my moments, though, and worrying about how stress levels will affect the baby, because I get down and worry about absolutely nothing sometimes.

The m/s has been horrendous... all throughout the day and night. DF has helped me greatly with holding back my hair and comfort levels... and me whining like never before.

You all seem very kind and friendly, looking forward to spending the next 8 plus months with you all.

Sorry for all the chatter. :blah

You'll have a great network here!

Congratulations. This is my 2nd pg and although I'm more relaxed this time around than when I was PG with my DS, it's all good stuff here!

These boards really make me appreciate the world wide web!

Cheers,

Welcome and Congrats!! I have one of those cysts also and I know that it can be pretty painful. It had me worried about an ectopic until I had an u/s and everything was fine. I hope your m/s feels gets better soon. I'm living on saltines, 7up and ginger candies right now... but at least they help! Maybe try some of those? Anyway, glad to have you here! :)
