I found this link off of ivillage. It's some law practice that sues doctors. :( I was going though the site and it seems to give both sides of the vbac debate at first (and allows you to vote on your vbac stance based on the info they give) and then goes totally anti-vbac with all the risks involved, claiming there would be sooo many more infant deaths if all the repeat c-s had gone for vbacs instead. :irked:

Here is the main site: http://www.trialmd.us/

You can click on VBAC off that site or go directly to the vbac argument here: http://www.trialmd.us/VBACpage1.htm

There is an area at the end for comments and soooo many people said this was why they would never risk a vbac.

Mothering.com is quoted several times on the site.

Talk about one-sided nonsense! Whoever wrote that site is a jerk...trying to make any woman who chooses VBAC seem as though she doesn't care about her baby.

Blech!

Of course, I've seen the websites from lawyers on SD too.

Sometimes I really hate lawyers.

Well, count me in as "a mother who doesn't care about her baby" who, by the way, is alive and incredibly healthy after an unmedicated VBAC!

I HATE (and that's a strong word!) articles that float around such as that one! C-sections are SO much worse than a VBAC! It's rediculous to think that having major abdominal surgery is somehow BETTER than giving birth the way nature intended! *understanding that sometimes a repeat c-section is medically necessary*

Ugh, don't get me started on that crap!!!! :angry
