Just got slammed

with overwhelming grief. When you think you are getting better you get slammed. So not fair.

It sucks, doesn't it? I just went through the same. Thought things were going pretty well. In fact I was surprised at how good I felt. I had my Goddaughter's Baptism on Sunday and made it through, Monday went for joint grief counseling with dh, Tuesday told our favorite waiter what happened for the first time and broke his heart but I made it - then SLAM. It all caught up with me last night. It isn't helping that my Mom or Dad have not made any sort of attempt to acknowledge my efforts on Sunday or asked how I am doing or how I handled it all. Nothing.

I'm sorry, I made this about me. Big hugs to you Christina. You know I feel your pain.

Thanks Keri. It for some wierd reason, it helps to know I am not alone. I wish we had flashing lights we could turn on when we needed help & then everyone would know, kwim??? This am is better. How about you?
