Miscarriage dream

Does this ever happen and how do you deal.


I had a miscarriage in between ds and dd, I'm not pregnant now and we aren't TTC.

2 nights ago I had a dream that I was pregnant and miscarried. It was just so real. It's really shaken me. Like if we ever do try for a 3rd it was foreshadowing something.

Am I making any sense?

Our dreams usually come from our subconcience fears and desires. Maybe your dream was just your mind trying to work out some unresolved pain from your m/c? :hug

I had two while I was pg with Nathan, two while I was pregnant in August '04 and two while I was pregnant in May '05.. I didn't have any this last pregnancy and I can only assume it's because it ended so soon.

Are you sure you're not pregnant? ;)

About 4 times this year--before and after my due date--I have had dreams that I was having a miscarriage, or that I was giving birth but I wasn't really and I was about to find out it was all wrong. It tended to happen with starting my periods--I think the uterine sensations may have sent me back there in my sleep.

I don't think it means anything. I mean, I think it means that my subconscious mind is doing its strange work, and I trust it to take care of whatever it is. I read somewhere that when you've had a loss and you are having nightmares, it may mean you need to give space to your feelings more in the daytime; this approach did help me when I was having nightmares like this often.
