Hello
I jsut postd in the home birth section about VBACS, I guess i should of looked further down the list... :)
I am going to be birthing my baby at home this time around, March 25th 2006. I have had three previous c-sections..one for Blood pressure problems and two uneducated, bullied, gulted into sections. Not a whole lot of fun. I can say though that this pregnancy and birth has a air of calm to it that I have never experienced before. I am doing so much work on myself and my mind that I really feel at peace with so many things. I am also FINALLY looking forward to my birth , not as something to "get over" but something to experience.
I look forward to talking and learning with you all.,

Phoenix

Welcome. Congrats on your pregnancy and planning your hba3c. I just had an hbac this summer and it was the most awesome experience. Sometimes I still cant believe I did it. Good luck with your birth experience.

Oooh, Phoenix, I'm glad to have you here :) I'm 35w3d pregnant with baby #4, and am planning a vba3c at a birth center with some great midwives :) My c/s were failure to progress after stupid, pointless induction, for the first one, and then bullying and guily for the following two. But my last two babies had surgery-related breathing complications. The most recent spent two weeks in NICU :/ I definitely feel better and more at peace with this choice, too...

Let me know if you find any great success stories - this is a hba3c story that I like, but they are few and far between, let me tell you! http://pregnancyandbaby.com/read/articles/737.htm
