We had our ultrasound today and we're having a girl, too! She was very active during the beginning of the scan (although I couldn't feel a thing) and then in the middle she curled up and went to sleep...so cute!
It seems like quite a few of the February mamas who have found out the sex are having girls. How fun! We didn't have a gender preference but it's nice to know just a little more about the person inside.
Maybe a girl-baby roll call is in order?

Yay! me me meeeeeeee! I agree it was weird to see the baby moving so much when I couldn't feel it, but I tell you, in the past couple of days since the u/s I have been feeling her a lot more. Not sure if it's real, or psychological, like I KNOW she's moving now, I saw it!
Yep, the feb board is going to be buzzing with girls...we'll have to do a baby clothes swap towards the end :LOL Somebody must be having a boy, right???

On the u/s ours looked like a girl too, but not positive yet. We will find out for sure after our amnio.
We'd like a little sister for DS! So we're keeping our fingers crossed that she's for real!

I had an u/s today as well - we're having our second girl! I'm excited that Julie will have a little sister, but (dare I admit it) I'm a little disappointed because I kind of wanted one of each. We're planning on stopping at two. Still, girls will be fun and we can re-use the clothes and hopefully they will be best friends.

Me 2 me 2. We found out last week. Not definate theyre never 100% on the scan but she assured me theres definatley nothing between her legs!!! If its a boy Im very sad for him (I couldn't help myself)!!!
We said since my positive pregnancy test it was a little girl. Daddy prayed for his Daddy's little girl and now he has her. You see he recently had a accident and as result this will be our only child. :( We had wanted two but it just seemed the timing was unbelievable I was only 3monrhs pregnant at the time. We hadn't planned her either. Im so grateful though. She is a very wanted little girl. Weve already picked out her name. Phoebe Robyn. Robyn was his mothers name whom died 4yrs ago at 54yrs old of bowel canver and she died with no grandchildren.
Phoebe will also be the very first girl born to my partners side of the family. So if you haven't noticed Im excited, (Not as much as her Dad though)!!!!
Thanks

we're going in for u/s on friday and will hopefully find out what we are having too. I'm hoping for a girl, but another boy would be wonderful too. I'll let you all know as soon as I can.
congrats on your baby girl!!

congrats on all the girls. We are having one too. We had our second ultrasound on friday. I will have to have a few more throughout the rest of my pregnancy because of a cyst they found on my ovary. Things look okay with the cyst though and at least I get to peek at my daughter once every six weeks or so. She was pretty quiet this time until the ultrasound doc told me to turn on my side then she started rocking and rolling. She was on her back with her feet over her head staring at her toes (yoga baby?). I agree with whoever said they felt increased movement after the ultrasound. I feel her more now too.
