FINALLY have a midwife!

I finally found a midwife whom I like. She is willing to be as hands off as I like, and is all about informed consent. She agrees, like I do, that I'm fully responsible for my birth. As far as I'm concerned, everything is great. Blood pressure, etc is normal, and the baby has a good strong heartbeat. Today, I've been sitting naked on the couch, and I can see my belly change shape as he moves around in there. First time I've seen movement from the outside! :)

Anyway, it's really nice to have one now, and I think she'll be a great asset to my birth. :love

Good for you!!! I am SO envious, as I think we were a few of the only ones who didn't have one yet. I'm still looking, so send those good midwife vibes my way!

I've already told you how happy I am...so I'll just say it again: YAYAYAYAYAY!!! And big congrats on seeing baby fromthe outside. That's so awesome!!

I normally have a robe nearby that I can grab quickly. But the other day, I was just getting dressed after a shower, and had only my undies on, when there was a knock at the door, so I make a quick decision to grab the robe instead of trying to finish dressing, when the door opens (I was hidden in the hallway yet), and management was coming in! I said, "Excuse me!" and they closed the door and waited for me to come open it. Seriously, they waited for like, 30 seconds before opening the door!! :angry (They were there to do an inspection, which we had all been warned about, but apparently, not many people home on a weekday afternoon!) They almost saw my boobies. :LOL

LOL Everybody knows I hang out naked and if you don't call first, there's a good chance I'll open the door in the buff. DOn't like it? Call first! Bringing a package mail carrier? Love my curves! I have opened thedoor shirtless with a kid on my boob many a times ;) Some friends stopped bya couple weeks ago. She says to her husband, because they didn't call first, "We got lucky, she had on clothes fora change!" LOL
