According to an online calculator, I'm due may 7, but I have long cycles, so I'm calling it mid- to late-may. If we have to put a number on it, I'd say the 14th, as I tend to have 35 day cycles when I'm not having 60-day ones!

My daughter is about to turn one, and I look forward to talking about adding a second child and tandem bfing!

I actually weaned her at 14 months (a year ago) so I could get my period back. Got pregnant in NOvember, but had a miscarriage in January. We've been trying ever since. I think the progesterone did it this month!

My dh was slow to come around, but after ds' birthn he was TOTALLY pro-homebirth and we both agree it's the only way for us now. If you wanna try to get together sometime or if you think your dh would talk to mine on the phone we could work it out. :) I saw in your blog where you mentioned the cord being around DD1's neck... my dd's cord was around her neck too. Really, any experienced caregiver deals with it no problem. It's quite common actually! The Thinking Woman's Guide to a Better Birth is a great resource because it brings up a lot of points to think about and compares the outcomes and interventions in hospitals, birthing centers, and homebirth. :thumb

Hi, there! We just found out yesterday that we're expecting #2. It was a real surprise, especially for the girl who used to practice FAM. I was just saying to a friend that I needed to start charting b/c my cycle seems shorter than it used to be...Oops! Too late! Woke up yesterday and realized my period was late...uh, yeah! 2 weeks late! LOL! It's actually a real blessing. As we get to know each other I can tell you my saga of balancing work and baby.

So we're looking at something like May 23 for an EDD. Not sure when the first day of my LMS was, but that's a good guess. I went 39.5 weeks with my first.

Still a little nervous, of course, since it's early. Last time I was able to be somewhat pragmatic and detached until we heard the heartbeat at 12 weeks. Now, I'm so excited I'm really having to keep myself in check. I think once you've experienced the joys of being a mom it's hard to hold back.

Not at all sure what we'll do for the birth. Last time I started with an OB, switched to a waterbirth center at 8 mos, ended up at the hospital b/c the birthcenter was FULL (grr!), and ended up having a great, natural birth in a great hospital. We've got plenty of time to figure it out.

Planning a hospital birth. dd was born 5 weeks early so I figure even if this babe decides to come early too it will likely be a May baby. :D The best part is that my birthday is May 24th and dh's is May 16th so we could end up sharing!

Hi! I'm pregnant with Baby #2. We weren't trying, but were open to it happening, and it's a nice surprise! I believe, after getting some input from mamas here, that my due date is May 28.

I had my ds Ali at a birth center connected to a hospital. I did get IV pain meds, mostly b/c I was so scared of the pushing, and then I was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable pushing was (it was orgasmic, I kid you not!). Now I can't wait to do it again. I'm planning to give birth at the birth center again, but this time I'm going to hire a doula and read the book "Back Labor No More."

Hi I'm Michelle and we're expecting #3 around May 21st. I am still feeling :nut because we were'nt trying to conceive! I have been in a bit of denial and have taken a total of SIX pregnancy tests (yes, it still is :+ :LOL ). It is a bit sooner than I wanted to have a third but I'm ecstatic! Dh didn't think he wanted a third at all, but he is so cute and excited about this new person growing in me :love.

ETA: We're having a hospital birth and planning no pain meds (as with my first two). Hoping I will not be induced this time, because I would love to let this happen in it's own time (I had pre-eclampsia with the first two).

Guess I should add myself, too! I estimate the due date to be May 21 - haven't had anyone else confirm that, though. Not sure yet, but want the most natural birth I can afford, and dh is comfortable with. I was born at home, as were 2 other of my sisters, so I am accustomed to it and now after all my reading I'm *so* for it!!!
By the way, dh and I are *both* tauruses, so I'm hoping we'll be a little late with this one rather than early so we're not an entire family of bulls!! :LOL

Hello! Much to my surprise, I'm due May 20th with number 2! I was posting over in June, but my dates were way off. Had a vaginal u/s today to confirm -- holy smokes!

I'll be delivering with the same doula in the same hospital. First time was no interventions at all, so I'm hoping for the same this time!

Hello, I'm due may 16th with my first and so excited! It'll have to be a hospital birth as we have no midwives in my little town, but i have a wonderful doula, and my doctor is great and respectful of all our weirdo-birthing/pregnancy ideas!

Can you change my due date to May 24 from May 30th? I went to the doc today and had an ultrasound and I was already thinking the 26th or earlier so this is a more accurate edd. Probably have a c-sec on the 18th or 19th of May,

i'm hanging in here. Wishing and hoping to e sooner than later.... i am so uncomfortable!
Although, i will say i cut all the over grown spring grass with the weed eater today, LOL:lol With the sun and warmer weather i have to get out. i cannot stand to see the yard get away from me. The Hollihocks are going crazy.
Although we live in the hills i do my best. No picket fence or anything. But i love my little plants and herbs.
i get very little sleep due to aches :crap and an active baby at night. i hope that those who are expecting soon are having a more comfortable last few weeks.
