All right, I feel strongly that we're having a boy, but DH and I just can't seem to figure out a good name for our little bundle. Our top picks right now are:
Brahm
Corin
Beau
Noel
Lucius

Any opinions on these names? Are Corin or Noel too girly? Any other suggestions? By the way, our last name is three syllables and starts with a hard G. Thanks for your honest opinions!

My opinion?

Brahm - very cool. Sounds gentle but strong. May have problems with other putting the 'h' in the wrong place.

Corin - probably will be considered girlish by some but I think it's OK. How will you pronounce it?

Beau - I'm thinking Gone With the Wind. Are you southern? It might work.

Noel - I have a personal association (male) with this name so it's not my favorite - but don't let that stop you! I also know a Noelle (who is very cool, BTW). Is it pronounced Nole or No-el? The later is more feminine, IMO.

Lucius - as in Lucifer?

Good luck!

Brahm--I think of that 80's-90's kids show "Sharon, Lois and Brahm and the Elephant Show" anyone remember that?

Corin--I thought of a girl when I saw this one.

Beau--I love this name and almost called ds 2 that.

Noel--also love this one, as well as Noelle for a girl. I can't use either because they are too close to older ds, Noah.

Lucius--I also thought of Lucifer :blush

Keep us posted!

Hi, I like Corin best. I think it's masculine and cool too. With Beau, I'd think of "Bo" which I don't particularly care for. Lucius reminds me a little of Lucifer too.

Definitely Corin. :thumb How about Noah?

I like Brahm the best...there is another way of spelling though isn't there. But either spelling is nice.

Noel don't like at all..sorry. Just reminds me too much of Christmas and one of my FIL's friends name is Noel..nice guy but the Christmas jokes never end for him.

Beau...nope as well.

Corin
Lucius...not sure how you pronouce either one so can't comment. But Lucius does look like Lucifier ay first glance.

But what do I know... :LOL . Our number one boys name was put down by both grandmothers as sounding like a RX drug name..in the end its your choice not anyone else's.

Corin is Prince Corin in the Chronicles of Narnia.

I like all of them except Beau... it's a lil too southern for me.

I'll be the odd one out....I really like Lucius. But I've known a Lucius so I associate it with him, not Lucifer.

I like Corin, becuse I like names that no one else has, that way if you are looking for the kid and you say there name thay are not so desensatized to it that thay actuly answre you. My name is morgan and I always knew my morher was talking to me. My DH Matt never responds when you tt him in public becuse there were always at least 3 matts in every one of his class. I also just think it is a realy cool name. i dont like Beau. the other names are ok but more comman

If it makes you feel any better, my first thought was a Harry Potter character when I saw Lucius. :wink

When I saw Lucius, I thought of Gladiator... I believe he was the little boy in the film...

It's so hard to pick a name. I'm in the hunt for boy's names as well..

Good luck!!!
