This is difficult

My baby died sometime in the past two weeks. I found out at my 20 week sonogram on Wednesday, and was able to have D&C done the next day. I just wanted it to be over with so that I can grieve. I had to pack all my books, magazines, sling, baby clothes and the earlier sonogram pictures away so that I don't burst into tears when I see them.

My husband has been so wonderful through this, and he makes me so glad I married him. We both want to try for another baby soon.

I probably won't be back to this month's forum, so I wanted to say good luck to the rest of you. I'll be back in a different month though, eventually.

My heart goes out to you and your husband, lairelin. I wish you both strength in coming to terms with the loss of your baby. I hope that you are supported by your friends and family in your grief process. There is a wonderfully supportive forum here on MDC called Pregnancy and Birth Loss (http://www.mothering.com/discussions/forumdisplay.php?f=22). The folks there can help you, hear you, and just be there for you.
