Do you think?

Let's see...we got back from our trip on Wednesday...I prepared and ran a children's program on Thursday, spent Friday shopping for baby/school clothes, weeded the garden and went through the girls' closets weeding out the outgrown/non-transitional stuff...and then moved onto the boxes of baby clothes to see what I could save from my 2 summer babies for this winter baby...all on Saturday, and today I stripped, stripped, stripped DDs diapers, cleaned our master bedroom...no, I don't think you understand...I CLEANED our masterbed room...as in moved out all the stuff that has sort of been "stored" in there for the last couple of years...cleaned out the closet...removed all the clothes I can forget about wearing for the next two years...vacuumed and then SHAMPOOED the carpets, rearranged the furniture, set up my little ambiance lamps that I've been meaning to do for over a year, etc. I spent virtually all day on this one room.

Next I'm tackling the room that was the nursery...it's supposed to be a study...I'm gutting it as well and shampooing in there and then we'll move a desk in and organize the girls' computers more nicely, etc.

That's is if sodding over the back lawn doesn't interfere too much with my plan...oh and then I'm deep cleaning the girls' room...

So what do you think? Have I caught it? Yeah, I think I got it bad. I've got my sights set on the basement too before I am done...DH is buying me shelving and a pantry for down there. I decided that I am NOT cooking and freezing in advance this time (he's quite capable of it himself)...but at least my house will be clean and organized! :LOL

Wow! I am so jealous. I am still so tired over here that I can just finish folding the laundry at night before I pass out. I got one coat of Kilz on the room for ds3 and new babe to share......needs another coat plus the paint we want in there. Ds3 keeps asking when will his room be green (he wants it green) and when will there be toys in there :bag: . I feel so guilty, but night is the only time I can paint without lots of 'help' and I am too tired!

Wish I had your energy!

I don't know that I have the energy...just determination! :LOL The chaos that is my house is driving me insane last night. I was dead tired when I fell into bed last night and I have declared today a day off...well, I'm still doing laundry, but other than that I am taking a breather...I woke up so sore this morning! :LOL

I've been having fantasies of using Clorox all over our house (never use the stuff, though). It feels icky to me and I wish I had the energy/determination whatever at this point to do what you're doing! Maybe when I get my iron levels back up...

Good work!!

hehehe...I've slowed down a bit...or rather DH has slowed me down! I am waiting for him to deal with all his stuff that I've cleaned out of the rooms so far...then I can shampoo the carpet in the hallway and the girls room. We bought another shelving unit today so I can reorganize my fabric stash better in the basement. That'll be my next project until he's got caught up on his Honey Do List. :LOL Then I can deep clean the bathrooms and declare the upstairs done! =)

I also have my list of home birth supplies from the midwives, so that is something that will keep me busy for a little bit too. =)

And there is the fall lawn work...organizing the freecycle stuff, etc. Somebody stop me! :LOL

Sending you some energy vibes...I had low iron with my first and I know how it can knock you out! It actually induced vertigo for me! ...but put that clorox away and get you some white vinegar! :LOL

Ok- I think you inspired me. I have been painting like mad at night when my helpers go to sleep. My 2 yr old has decided he wants his own room (will share with new babe) and he wants it green. I may actuallly finish in 2 more nights! Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks! I've actually got the vinegar (and the baking soda and borax and lemon juice and tea tree oil...) but just don't have the energy yet to put it to use. We've never bought bleach. Unless you're a hospital or restaurant or something I'm not sure why anyone would. :shrug Maybe everything about this house wouldn't bug me so much if I could, well, sweep or something. Next week... :wink

*cough cough* you buy bleach when you're so frustrated at yellow whites and mildew in the shower and you've tried everything else and you've decided to pull out the big guns cause you're nesting and yellow whites and mildew are suddenly completely intolerable. But they don't work, and you find something better and less toxic anyway. :W

WOW mama! Good for you! Im tired just reading your list.
I started my hubby on some nesting projects, I like to nest by directing LOL. He's pulled up the carpet in the entry way (who would put carpet there anyways?) stripped off about 5 layers of lino under, replaced it with tile and then I had to pull off all the ugly wallpaper in there and the kitchen and he repainted YAY! SO I finally like my house but now im pooped and dont want to do any more. I hope the nesting bug hits hard again though.
