My sister has been a wonderful support for me throughout my pregnancy and during my IVF journey.

It dawned on me today, just how much she's done for me and been there for me, as I was listing all the things I want to thank her for in her thank you card... :clap

:notes:
So, I just thought I'd share so you all could appreciate her too...

1. She has been there constantly whenever I had a question about my IVF cycles (all 3 of them). She rooted for me every time too.... :fingersx: (She has a son (from fresh IVF) and I'm happy to say is very newly pg from a FET from above IVF cycle). She was also there when I lost 2 little :angel :angel

2. She's never complained about my constant neediness - ever....

3. She has sewn for my :twins: .... drum roll please.... 28 NB cloth diapers that are super super awesome all in ones. (note: mom did the embroidery on her way cool sewing machine) (http://www.beautygal.com/twins/cloth_diaper_stash.htm....

4. AND, she sewed (and cut out) and snap pressed above NB dipes AND 20 something SM size dipes. I don't have the smalls yet, as mom is helping her finish those - but she did cut them all out and she's sewing all the snap press ones. Mom is sewing the velcro ones.

5. She bought a monitor from my registry (she used it for her son while she was visiting me in July) and left it with us.... (Aquarium themed no less :thumb )

6. She has loaned me all her Dr. Sears books and Bradley Child Birth Books from her personal collection (and paid to mail them from NC)

7. She bought us the Dr. Sears Baby book (a gift)

8. She sewed a beautiful sling that matches my nursery (imagine that.... see it here: http://www.beautygal.com/twins/ChristySling.htm )

9. She bought us 48 Chinese prefolds all of them Tie-Dyed (see here: http://www.beautygal.com/twins/tiedyed.htm

10. OH and LAST but NOT least, she started out drawing of our nursery, the puffer fish are hers, the Rainbow Fish she pencil drew, the Octopus she drew and the red crabs she drew.... It was her artwork that inspired me to give it a go too....

11. Oh and I'm not sure, but I think she might be making me some wool (or hemp) nursing pads....

12. Last but not least, she turned us on to the crunchy way to raise our babies. I may not be super super crunchy, but I'm semi-crunchy :bouncy

So, gosh, is a card even adequate enough to express my appreciation to her? Hmmmm, probably not.

I only hope I can be as good of a sister to her that she's been to me.

Hugs to all and thanks for letting me :blah :blah :blah :blah about my sister!!!

Both your sister and mom are :thumb :love

Sound like they need a gift cert to a pedicure or something.

You are VERY lucky!!! She has made some wonderful, wonderful items for you! Dipes are truly beautiful!

How about a necklace (charm) that you have engraved? Pictures in engraved frames? A new sewing machine? Spa day?
