I'm just getting to the point where I'm starting to show a bit. It doesn't really look like a prenant belly, but it's definitly getting bigger. I no longer fit into any of my pants, but mat shirts look stupid. It's creating a bit of a wardrobe crisis. I've been complaining to dh about this, but he's not too interested (don't really expect him to be). On Friday he walked into the room as I was getting undressed. He took one look at me and said, sounding totally shocked, "Oh my god, you are getting pregnant!!!". Well, duh! :nut I'm not sure what he expected (or where he's been for the last 4 months), but I thought that was the most ridiculously comical response to a pregnant belly--especially for someone who sees me in the buff everyday. What a dork!!! :LOL

I'm impressed that you've made it this far wearing your regular clothes. I've been out of my pants since I was around 8-9 weeks, and this is my first pregnancy. It is funny how much men don't notice these changes. I feel like I am growing leaps and bounds and there are days when my partner seems to think that nothing has changed. It is funny that your dh seemed surprised, though. :)

I agree that maternity shirts are ridiculous. I've been resistant to wearing them at all. I've been pulling off the tight t-shirt or tank top thing...wearing lots of skirts and going with the bohemian look. I will only go all maternity when nothing else works. I really really don't wanna look like I am draping myself with my shirts. I don't wanna look like I'm wearing a tent to cover my babe.

Husbands are dorks sometimes! Mine did the same thing! I got away with mostly my regular clothes, cuz I have lots of stretchy waist stuff. Although now at 18 weeks I am having less and less choies.
I have a conference I am exhibiting at in a month, I have NO idea what I can wear there. Hopefully I have something ahlfway decent that will fit then!

The only thing my hubby notices when I'm pregnant is the size of my boobs :rolleyes He doesn't notice my belly until I'm really really big, but the boobs he notices right off :LOL

Hehehehe!!! That's it. He's been distracted by the appealingly large breasts that he's not allowed to touch. :LOL

My hubby noticed my belly the other day too, But he didn't have a comical response. Baby #3 he almost acts like it's just the norm and there's nothing different about me. Ofcourse this is my 3rd baby, 4th pregnancy in the last four years. So what should I expect, he is a MAN :LOL
