brought her kick butt ;) new double stroller, the Phil and Ted's e3! I am so in awe and can't wait to get ours! I have wanted one for a long time, but, they are not sold in stores so I have been waiting to see one IRL. LOVE it!
It is a jogging stroller that can be either a single or a double, as you can remove the back seat. It is going to be a dream for all the urban strolling we do!

Wow, I've never seen one of those.I'm still not sure if I'll get a double stroller this time either. If DS#1 is tired I wear Ds#2 and put #1 in the stroller.Since DS#1 will be four and a half when Little Bit comes I'm hoping we can still do this arragement since I really don't want ot have to deal with pushing a double stroller.I had a hard enough time finding the perfect single one. :wink

You'll have to post a review once you get it. It's my top contender for a double. I'm also considering the Inglesina Twin Swift, because it's lightweight and because I L-O-V-E my Inglesina Zippy and its awesome fold.

I've heard great things about the Mountain Buggy, too. But I really don't think DH would be so keen on the cost!

oh yay! someone to talk strollers with. I have the Inglesina Swift for our umbrella and am not interested in a double version of that. it is a great stroller, but, I am telling you- the Phil and Ted's is where it's at. :) I want the handle across, I am sick of 2 handles. And it can go back to a single when one outgrows riding in a stroller. I was pushing it with 2 kids in it (all the kids were fighting over who got to ride in it) and it was so smooth. My only concern is that it might be backordered again by the time we're ready to order it.

My friend has one of those and she loves it! I think you'll be happy with it. I have no plans to buy a double stroller but you bet your a$$ that if I do it will be the nicest one I can get my hands on. A double stroller is not for amateurs, LOL. Those things can be ugly.

Charmcitymama,

How well did the e3 steer? I assume it's easier to steer one-handed since it has one handle instead of two. Also, what's the fold like? We travel a bit and ease of fold is a definite must.

I know a lot of people love their MBUDs but I really would prefer the narrowness of the e3. I also like the fact that it's convertible to a single.

Hmm.... might have to sell my Teutonia to help cover the cost.... :)

p.s. Have you visited the Baby Bargains stroller forum? If not, you'd love it! http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/dcboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=14&page=
