View Full Version : Anyone NOT getting morning sickness???

Just curious, with my girls, I was HORRIBLY sick with all day m/s by this time, and I have VERY LITTLE m/s so far. :( Just wondering how your pregnancies differed from each other, or were they the same?? The only difference between Rachel and Emma was that Rachel the m/s ended at exactly 13 weeks, with Emma is was the whole pregnancy, but not horrible the entire time.
I thought I might be pg with number four so I was checking the pg boards, but I just went to the bathroom and I got my period (sort of bummed about that even though we weren't trying.)
Anyway, I was going to let you know that with my first two I had miserable m/s that I had to be medicated for. With ds1 it lasted 13 weeks, with ds2 it was more like 15 or 16 weeks. When I got pg with ds3 I fully expected it to arrive on schedule, but it never came. I did throw up twice, but both times I had taken my B complex vitamin on an empty stomach. That's not a good idea. :( I was really worried that something was wrong with that pregnancy since I wasn't sick, but everything was fine and I never did get sick.
I had a host of other garden variety pregnancy misery though. :LOL I guess you can't escape unscathed.
Good luck to all with your pregnancies. I'm quietly hoping for an "accident" soon. :love

Hey Jish! :wave I haven't seen you in ages!! (I used to be mama-wanna-be back in my TTC days.) :hug mama....hope you get a nice surprise sometime soon! Time to set up a nice romantic night out in the backyard again!!! ;)
Anyway...
I'm not having much m/s yet. Last time I don' think it really started until 7-8 weeks so I'm thinking it could arrive next week.
I've been having some hot flashes and I'm incredibly tired but that's about it. Really...I feel great. Which is well....great.....and of course slightly disconcerting. I keep having these....am I really pregnant? moments.

:innocent No, I've never gotten morning sickness - either it isn't so bad or I'm really good at fighting down the nausia. I have one DD and preggers with #2 now (maybe I'll get sick soon, who knows? I'm only about 7 weeks along!).

Nope, didn't get it with ds, last pregnancy or now. I'm happy, of course, but kinda would like to have some 'proof' I'm really pregnant. Don't know why those daily bfp's haven't convinced me yet :LOL

This is pregnancy #3 and no sickness yet.. CROSSING FINGERS LOL.. but with ds (firstborn) I had no pregnancy symptoms pretty much my entire pregnancy except getting HUGE.. and with dd (2nd baby) I had everything you could ever imagine! Hopefully this pregnancy will be like the 1st but hopefully the baby will be like the 2nd LOL.. My first is the wild child and my 2nd is mellow as can be lol

With my first pg, my ds, I had no morning sickness. With my 2 dds, I was incredibly sick. This time I am feeling great (knock on wood). I have a strong feeling that is is a boy too - so if the pattern contines, hopefully I'll feel better.

With my DS, I felt awful for the first 13 weeks, but I only ever threw up twice (then I threw up like 8 times in labor, which I thought was ironic.)
My diet is much better this time, so far. It was much better to start with and I've just been making GOOD FOOD every 2 hours my priority, and so far, I feel a lot better than I remember feeling before. A little queasy & unpleasant, especially if I eat a lot of meat or fried foods, but not so bad. Now, I fully expect this to get somewhat worse since I am not even quite 6 weeks pg yet. But I'm hopeful that eating almost entirely organic food and making nourishing myself my top priority is going to help. Somehow, cheese is especially helpful yesterday and today. Why cheese is okay while fried anything isn't, I don't know. :shrug

I didn't get sick at all w/ pregnancy #1. Now I'm 3 weeks into #2 and feeling like I've been run over with a truck.
Could this be b/c I'm still breastfeeding #1??

No MS. I have been a little dizzy, and almost felt like I was going to lose it, but so far, so good. Same thing with DS. No morning sickness, but I joked that I almost wish I has because I gained 112 lbs (yes, 112)

With my dd I never had it - just an aversion to some foods. This time though I started having it lightly right before I was supposed to get my period. I am only at week 5, but so far I just have some small twinges off and on during the day, and during the night. Hoping it does not get worse...I saw someone said theirs did not start until 7 or 8 weeks last time. As is is right now it is no big deal. I don't mind because then I am reminded I am pregnant! Always hard in the beginning....

The food that I'm eating doesn't have me running for the trash can or commode, I have waves of nausea and hot flashes, especially if I don't eat right when I know I need to. Sometimes I'm ravenous, sometimes not. But the hunger/heat comes on and hits me out of nowhere. Sometimes after I eat, like right now actually, I just know I'm about to see what I just got down come right back up. These feelings seem to be getting more intense, but no real puking yet. I'm about six weeks and am wandering if this dubious pleasure is just around the corner! :flipped

i never had full on m/s with dd... only occasionally felt a little out of it and like i didn't want to eat, but then once i did felt better. seems to be the same this time around, but i'm only at week 3 or so and not even really tired yet. i remember symptoms didn't hit me until further along with dd and then it was mostly being super tired.

Same here! I'm feeling more tired, I guess? But no m/s YET like I did with DS. And I'm going to call it nausea - the term m/s should be thrown out because it ain't just in the mornin', is it mamas?! Nooooo....
If I need a reminder that I'm preg, when my DS latches on - OUCH! Oh yeah, I'm preg!

So far so good on the no m/s. With dd the only time I would catch a wave was when I got into the shower. Something about the hot, steamy air made me sick. I only puked twice... and at least I was in the shower :LOL

No m/s here. I can only remember getting sick once in all my pregnancies but I guess Im pretty lucky there. Now sore breasts thats a whole other issue.
Yeah, same here. No morning sickness here either. Although, if I wait too late to have breakfast than I do feel slightly nauseated and lightheaded. Otherwise, enjoying my food! :bag:

Me neither... I have a little nausea , but not too bad of ms. I was REALLY bad with my ds and dd, I lost 25 pounds each the first trimester. I am paying close attention because last time I wasn't feeling very sick and I ended up with an ectopic. :( I know all pregnancies are the same, but ya know... can't help the worry.... :down

The only thing I can figure is that it's the natural progesterone cream (taking to help me stay pregnant.) I was incredibly sick from like 2 days after I ovulated all 3 times I've been pregnant before now (2 of which ended in a miscarriage around 6 weeks.) I knew I was pregnant because I was sick! I've even had 2 other times when I'm almost positive I conceived because I had morning sickness, but ended up getting AF before I could get a positive test. I almost didn't test this time because I was feeling so good, I knew I couldn't be pregnant!
So, it's a miracle I'm not sick. The other thing is, with my other pregnancies, I didn't throw up that much, but I was nauseated constantly and often lightheaded and just, ick, queasy!
I feel wonderful right now, and I'm hoping it stays that way. I'm also guessing it's the progesterone because progesterone levels normally start to increase around 12 weeks, and that's when most women stop feeling sick.

I don't get morning sickness either ... it worries me a bit because I've had a few miscarriages and ANY sign that things are going well is always appreciated.

No MS here either and I have constant, "Am I pg???" moments all day long!! In fact, I tested again the other day LOL
I just keep telling myself I dont have to feel sick to really be pg...over and over again....
With DD I was a tad queasy, tired and had major cravings/aversions to smells. Now I am not even that hungry, weird?
