Seriously, last week I am celebrating my birthday buying clothes, feeling all smug that I finally got lower than my pregiffin weight and last night I met with my friends from NY for chinese food.I was starving and ate evrything,i stopped short of the table itself!!! :LOL so at the end of the night i laugh to my friend, who is a week ahead of me ,about how i must undo the button of my new skinny jeans(sorry to go on ladies but i have NEVER been a size 2 in my life and was hoping to wear them more than a week!!!!) so all the drive home(button still undone)I am groaning how I ate too much and how I couldn't wait until tomorrow so I could do my jeans up again...well you guessed it...I popped, seriously popped overnight :irked: It took 24 weeks to get to this with my first!!
alright I will admit it,I have love stroking my tummy today :love but honestly I am six weeks,I'll be in maternity by 8 weeks and the size of a hotel at the end if i keep going like this.
anyone else popping already or is it just eat everything in sight ol' me?? :bag:
oh and my m/s took a hike again, toilet bowl city for one day(not that i'm complaining about that)but occasional queasiness might stop me eating CT out of all it's food!!!
okay I am going to gaze longingly at my jeans now..... :LOL

Oh, your cute!!!! :LOL But I totally hear ya, I am sooooooooooo not even going to try on my size 4 jeans! :bag: I think I managed to fit in them for about 6 months, and that's it! Although I am happy that with this pregnancy, I am 7 pounds lighter than before I got pregnant with Rachel. More room to gain!! :LOL But yes, I am soooo bloated it's not even funny!!!!!!!

Oh bummer Minimunkle! That totally rots :( I hope it is temporary and at that you will get to wear your 2's for at least a few more weeks ;)
I feel like my belly is growing too, though it is most likely my abdominal fat pad that is contributing most to that phenomenon :LOL

It's surprising what a week will do! And BTW, I'm sooo jealous that you got past your pre-preg weight. I'm just about the same weight, but it is all in different places :irked: . I haven't popped... but my tummy is sooo uncomfortable my regular clothes. I did the rubber band trick on my pants today give myself a little extra room.
I don't want to wear maternity clothes yet.... but it seems like it is gonna be sooner rather than later. :o

Yes. Me too. I was getting worried that there was something wrong...2 weeks ago I was a sexy mama and now - give me a big t-shirt and don't even think of putting anything tight around my waist. *sigh* I look like I am 3 months already. Sheesh.

Yeah, it's only big drawstring skirts and "fat" jeans for me now. And it's weird, because I haven't gained any weight yet. But I'm definitely bloated and I can't even look at my size 10s. Yes, 10s are my skinny jeans, youwannamakesumthinofit? :irked: :LOL
I was a size 8 before I got pg with ds. Now I doubt I'll ever wear that size again.

:LOL Ladies you're killin' me. Okay, this is my 1st PG, I'm about 6 weeks along and I went out and bought maternity clothes today. :bag: I am so bloated, I know I'm not showing this early, but none of my other clothes are comfortable and what's the point of buying clothes that I won't be able to wear soon? So I got some that I'll grow into! :D OMG, they're soooo comfy and I feel so sexy. I like to go to the thrift store and get my clothes, though the ones I got today are brand spankin' new which is just crazy for me, :nut and the last time I went shopping before today for clothes was like 3 or 4 years ago. I miss all my cute skinny clothes that I haven't been able to wear for over a year now, even though I'm ecstatic to be PG. I mean, I know that we gain, lose, whatever, different stages at different times and everything so I am trying to enjoy my body w/o the confinements I put on myself but sometimes that's hard. I was always such a little butterball growing up and friends, family, whoever would not let me forget it, even if they weren't/aren't trying to hurt my feelings. To say I have a complex is fair! :LOL No matter how small I get. To me, a year and a half ago or so at a size 6, I still needed to lose weight. I try to keep this mentality in check though. I eat (or I ate before food turned on me!) pretty healthily and exercise regularly, have been for years, but I had gained a good amount, about 30 lbs or so, after my Mama's journey here with us in the physical had come full circle. The weight I wanted to lose just wasn't coming off. I do work these 30 though, uh huh. :kewl My theory is that my body was gearing up for something I didn't even really know was coming. :wink Maybe BF will help things along post partum! :D In any case I've been trying to clean out my emotional and mental closet before baby comes to greet us and issues with my body image are definitely not staying here! No way do I want my Little Pea picking up that issue from me. :flipped Total rant. Guess I needed to get that out! :LOL These clothes are too yummy though you guys, seriously...

Yeah, I can't wait for the maternity clothes! I may go by Old Navy tomorrow and see what they have. Don't they have the maternity in the stores now? They used to only have them online. I do need some new t shirts as my others were very fitted and do not look at all good with my spare tire belly! I also treated myself to some new hippie drawstring skirts on ebay. I'm anxious to get them in the mail. They looked gorgeous in the pictures. I think those will be good because I can wear them through the pregnancy and then after as well.
