Ya know, people really tick me off. So I'm sitting here with the radio on in the background, something I rarely ever do b/c of stupid crap like this. So the DJ starts talking about what's up with the trend of PG women walking around with their stomachs showing, it's disgusting. What the? :irked: But it's OK for us to consume mega amounts of gratuitous sex and violence? :hopmad Agh, what's wrong with people? This really irritates me. This is one of the many, many reasons I hardly ever watch TV or try to take in too much of the popular media. I remeber seeing an episode of The Golden Girls and the idea of giving birth anywhere but in a hospital, flat on your back with your feet in stirrups pumped full of drugs was considered moronic. Of course that's how the whole scenario was played out, woman giving birth in the birthing center screaming in absolute agony and all, terrifying the mother into being in
the hospital. I don't have a problem with a Mama giving birth in the hospital
if that's what she chooses, but why act like any other option makes you
stupid and neglectful?
I know that this type of imagery is everywhere but it still :cuss Why? I feel that I can give props and respect to people that don't necassarily agree with my way of doing things. Why do so many people have such a hard time listening to each other with kindess and respect? Why does someone always have to be right or come out the victor? :bang If someone shows you respect and courtesy, why not extend the same to them? Ugh, I'm so irritated. Anything getting under your skins Mamas? Or am I being a cranky pants? If I am then so be it! :mischief

If that is all that is making you cranky, I must have my cranky pants on extra tight.
I nearly slapped a friend of mine this week when I announced I was pregnant and he said "geez, too you long enough!"

Yes, and the sooner we get it over with, the sooner we can start enjoying pregnancy.

Donchya know, a beautiful pregnant belly can get in the way of a man's ability to view our bodies as sexual objects? What a shame that those uppity women's husbands don't make them cover up.....

OK off the :soapbox

You know that DJ is probably sitting there in manpris balancing his super-giant-extra-big gulp on his hairy beer belly and thinking he's such a ladies' man.

Oh you ladies are so great for listening to me rant and rave. :LOL My emotions are off the charts and I'm finding it so hard to hide or sweep aside how I feel about so many things. :innocent I'm finding pregnancy to be like taking a massive truth serum, whether I'm happy, sad, angry, whatever. I'm fascinated by my changing body and emotions. Hold on, I might cry... :LOL
