I don't think that's wrong at all- I think most people would like a bit of each. It's natural! We're hoping for a boy, although I would be thrilled with a girl- I'm so loving 3 generations of women in my family so much that I'd like to have a bunch of girls.

I hope your baby is healthy, no matter what gender they happen to be.

I agree with susanella there. It seems pretty natural for most parents to want to experience the seperate joys of each. In the same instance, right along with philomom, I hope you and your baby are happy and healthy. I hope everything works out for you starlein! :wink

Popping in from the April board. No its not wrong. I have 2 boys and would love to have a little pink in the house with me :) Of course, I will be thrilled if its a little boy too. I love my little guys so much, and I almost couldnt imagine having a girl.

I know what you mean. I'll be happy either way, but part of me would love to have a little boy this time. And the other part would love to have another little girl.

We tried for a girl this time. I too would love a girl, although I spent a lot of time thinking how wonderful it would be to have two little boys running around.
One reason why I would like to have a girl next is related to our decision to have a third. I don't want our decision to have a third to be based partially on the desire to have a girl.

So did you do any creative timing of intercourse while TTC?
I have two girls and am undecided about which I would like more. On one hand, it would be neat to have a son, but then again, you can never have too many girls, and I have all these cute girl clothes that are so fun to dress them in.........
I love that the gender of our children is one thing we can't control. I absolutely love that. We never find out the gender and spend the whole time anticipating and trying to guess what it is.
(Both times we guessed wrong BTW :down )

We tried to have sex as far away from ovulation as possible, but still during fertile phase. DH and I were going to be separated for a week, when I expected to be ovulating.
We had sex on a Sat night, and I ovulated on Tuesday. Low and behold we are pregnant! So we will see.
But honestly, another little boy would be wonderful.
