Do I need an ultrasound?

I miscarried yesterday :( I was 10 1/2 weeks.
I really have no desire to enter the medical system but
am wondering if I should call my family practice doc tomorrow
and have him order an ultrasound?

I started spotting on Friday. On Saturday I miscarried what I thought
was "everything" (placenta, sac). But today, Sunday, I went to the bathroom and another large (3 inches) sac came out, it was very firm.I am now confused.

An advice?

having an ultrasound is totally up to you, I never have. Just be aware of the signs of infection (fever, chills, excessive bleeding). Bleeding after a miscarriage can come and go for weeks.

Take extra care of yourself and make sure to keep hydrated.

:Hug for your loss, I'm so sorry. I don't have any advice...I had a couple ultrasounds with my first m/c and still ended up with retained tissue. I didn't have an ultrasound after my second m/c and everything was fine. Trust your instincts. Take care of yourself, drink plenty of water and get lots of rest.
