Csect, can I take a bath?

I had a csect on Friday morning, can I take a bath tonight (Monday)?

I think it's a 2ww till after you see the dr, especially if you have steri-strips. I'm not a bath girl so I never asked.

I had to wait about four weeks with my most recent one, because the incision was infected. I suspect you should wait until you've asked your doctor. If the incision's healed over okay, you're probably fine.

Believe me - I understand the feeling. I've never been a shower person, and my muscles were all achy (from being in bed at the hospital and holding everything funny and breastfeeding and...everything)...I was just dying for a bath!! One thing, though - the longer you have to wait, the better it feels!

Oooohh, a bath! My bathroom is under construction and I'm dying for a tub! This weekend (I hope!).

I'll be 2 weeks pp Thursday and I see my doc for a follow-up tomorrow (horrible antibiotic allergic reaction), so I can let you know what he tells me the rules are! LOL.

Otherwise, I'd just call the office. :D Congrats!
