Hi all,
I had my 36 week appointment today. No surprise to me, the baby's head is not at my midline. I'd call it a diagonal position, with baby's head to the right of and below my navel, and its little feet beneath my left breast. DS (2 1/2) was identical to this, and he came out just fine. His head was a bit slanty for a few days though LOL.
Anyway, the OB called it an oblique position, and she seemed concerned about it. She said we can scoot the baby over if needed (she motioned like she was doing an external version), but I assured her that my son had been in the same position and that I had no trouble delivering him.
Is her concern valid? Or am I right on in thinking everything will be okey dokey?
