Just for the fun of it, I took a look at the May 2006 DDC. Just reading the titles of all their threads reminded me how far I've come and all I've already been through (morning sickness, tests, fatigue, questions...)! Can you believe it? Sometimes it feels like December will be here so soon! I can't wait!

Then, it also made me realize that I need to *cherish* this special time of being pregnant. I think this may be our last. I've really been focused on just surviving the pregnancy symptoms that I think I've forgotten to be in the moment, you know?

You are so right.

Sometimes I get so focused on the daily tasks and trying to get all the big projects done that I won't have time for in the next two years that I forget to just sit and enjoy this special time of growing a life inside of me.

These 40 weeks (give or take some) are really too short. And it isn't always easy, but it is such a special time.

LOL, I was looking at May's board too...you should check out their belly pic thread....they are all still relatively flat. So cute. :)

Isn't it amazing that we are closer to the end than the beginning now? This pregnancy has really gone quickly for me. I love being pregnant (for the most part!) but at times I am very anxious to meet this new little one.

LOL i just posted that i'm starting to feel some of those old things again...nausea, fatigue, uncomfortable, pain, etc...the 2nd trimester has flown by too fast!! why can't it all be like the 2nd trimester??

Because then we wouldn't be so happy when labor starts!!! :LOL


littlemomma -- thank you so much for starting this thread! :grouphug We really have come so far. We're actually closer to holding our babies in our arms than seeing the :+

Juliasmum - I would TOTALLY not say that 40 weeks is too short. :nono Take it back, would you!?!? :wink Just kidding. In some ways 40 weeks does seem to short, but then at other times, I wish it would fly by a little faster!
