View Full Version : Post partum hair loss....???

I lost hair by the handfuls starting when Will was about 3 months old, and now the new stuff growing in is wavy!! It's really weird, since my hair has always been straight as an arrow.

Anyone else have this happen? Will is 10 months old now.

My hair is straight, but my new hair always grows in curly. It eventually straightens out, and the curly part gets removed with a haircut. When I was very little and a teenage, my hair was curly, and all the times in between and now it's straight.

Vitamin B can help with that and taking silica can also help...good luck...

I just cut my hair short each time since I did not want to mess with it while I was taking care of a newborn...;)

You're lucky. Mine all came in wavy and completely WHITE! It's not enough that I'm an older mom, but now I look like my ds's grandma.

Mine came in wavier than the rest of my hair, with a couple of grays added in! I'm proud of my grays. I feel like I've earned them! :D
