The baby is perfect, healthy, VERY active, and IT'S A BOY!!

It was very exciting - Jenna went with us and she has been SO convinced that the baby is a girl the whole time...DH asked her what would happen if we found out it's a boy and she said very matter-of-fact "Noah can play with it." :LOL So, the sonographer asked if we wanted to find out and when we said yes, that's the first thing she looked for. As soon as she said "boy", Jenna was thrilled! She later said that even tho she wanted a baby sister as soon as she heard, she changed her mind. I'm so glad she's not disappointed! I'm a bit surprised...I was thinking (or maybe just hoping) it was another girl! But of course we are thrilled with a baby boy just the same! Everything looked great, but the baby is SO wiggly that she couldn't get quite as good a look at the heart as she wanted to, so they want us to come back in 4 weeks to try again (she emphasized she saw nothing wrong, just wants to make sure they get a good look). He is measuring one week ahead, which I wasn't surprised by at all (Noah measured 2 or more weeks ahead at this point). My placenta is clear in the back of my uterus, which may explain why I've been feeling this little guy so much and felt him so much earlier than the other kids. Or maybe he's just a super active kid! LOL
Anyway, it was lots of fun and I'm so glad it's finally over! WHEW! It feels really weird to know the baby's sex (after we chose not to with the first two kids) but I'm glad we found out. Oh, his name is Ian (not sure about the middle name yet!). :)
