My hospital is putting in birthing tubs!

YEAH, Right on! I am so lucky to live in a progressive city. I have had both my babies at the same hospital where this one will be born. Very supportive of intervention free birth, have jacuzzi tubs in all the room, and are even developing an in house doula resource for laboring moms.

My MW told me today they are putting in big beautiful birthing tubs :thumb She told me they should be ready to go by May. I am excited. I could have a waterbirth! Woohoo!

The birthing center is big business for this hospital and they put a ton of money into it. I am excited to see that there is a demand for things that are in line with NCB and that the hospital addresses this demand.

I live in a progressive city, just not THAT progressive, yet! :LOL
I would LOVE to have a water birth in the hospital. I can't have peace with home birthing, but I have labored in water at the hospital and just LOVED it. I wish I could just have birthed in there as well... Nothing in sight for me, just, yet, though! More power to ya!!!! :bouncy :bouncy :bouncy
