Consignment sale deals!

Now that I know this little one is a boy, I'm shopping! :bouncy

I went to a bi-annual consignment sale in town today, and even though I had a VERY antsy 3 year old in tow making it hard to shop, I think I did pretty well...I got a Graco baby swing in great shape (happens to be exactly like the one I used to have for my first two kids), a baby bath tub, and 4 newborn boy outfits (all in like-new condition, one still with the tag on) for $40 total! That's way less than just the swing itself would have cost if I'd gotten a new one! (I wish I'd been able to go a few days ago when the sale first opened and go without the kids - I bet I could have gotten a ton more great deals...but there will be another one in February.) :)

I wish we had those kinds of sales around here. I have a friend in ATL and they have several big ones each year. I want to fly down just for that. :LOL
I hope to get some good finds 2nd hand this time.

Sounds fun! Theres a great resale shop here. For my last baby I spent $26 there, and got enough clothes to last him till 9 months or so. Nice, soft all cotton outfits, most of them brandname. I think I only bought a few cute things new.
I am going to go there again next month for this baby!

Yeah, I need to check and see if there are any regular consignment shops here (the sale I went to the other day is nearly over and pretty picked over by now).

I did get some really good deals at Toys R Us again today, though! They had Carter's 5 pack onesies marked down to about $7, then 50% off the marked down price!! I got two packs - TEN onesies - for just over $7. They had a few other things half-off the marked down price as well and I got a couple of outfits for the baby for next summer for about $3 each. :)

And today I bought a Land's End Rugby playsuit (the nice long sleeved one) from ebay - brand new in the package for less than $5 including shipping! And yesterday I bought a new pair of Robeez for the baby also from ebay - they were $21 total, but they're normally $26 plus shipping from the Robeez website so it was still a good deal.

Now, if I could just find a carseat and a changing table or pack-n-play with the changing table top for super cheap, I'd be even happier!! Keeping my eyes open...
