2 ?'s : Yeast in my Iron and a Cosleeping Mat

I had a yeast breakout this week in the crease of my inner thigh/labia. I just started taking Floradix iron. The first ingredient is yeast. Could this be a reaction to the supplement??

Also, I saw an ad for a bed bumper attached to a waterproof mat. It was in the back of the Mothering mag and I can't find my copy. Anybody know what I'm talking about?? It wounds like it may be better than sleeping on a towel the first few weeks.

Have you had a recent yeast infection? Definately if your body was weakened by an overgrowth, the yeast in the Floradix (which I also take, and give DD the kiddie version) could tip the balance so to speak and cause an outbreak. I also know that Floradix is very sweet - lots of fructose-laden juice bases...yeast love that..

RainCoastMama- I take the tablets, but I definetly notice that I've been craving sugar lately. A bad sign concerning yeast. 6th baby and I've never had to deal with yeast before!

Amy- Yes!! that's it. It looks like just what I need. I've always used a toddler rail and body pillow before, but I always worry about then separating from the bed.
