Boy! I was so certain this baby was a girl. I can't believe it but there was no doubt about it. Dd is a little disappointed but got over it pretty quickly. I wrote on the anybody have a hunch thread that I was certain it was a girl. Its funny because originally I thought it was a boy. This baby was a surprise but after reviewing the shettles method for predicting gender I thought everything pointed to a boy. But then something changed and I became certain it was a girl. So much for my instinct :LOL .

The US was a lot of fun. All looked good and it was a new machine with great resolution. My cervix was nice and long, yippie! I have a history of preterm labor so that is always an issue. Baby measured 21 weeks, 4 days and I am 21 weeks 1 day so pretty much on target.

Wow.......a boy!!

Congrats from a fellow "boy" mamma! :) My ultrasound was high resolution, too (the OB practice that backs up my birth center is a high-risk type practice apparently, so they have the better US machines). The difference between the clarity of the ultrasound we had this week and the one I had at almost 8 weeks is VERY significant. I'm so glad it was so clear and we got such a good direct view at the little one's boy parts so I have no doubt whether the sonographer was right or not. :LOL

So do we have a head count of girls and boys around here yet??
