Oh...my...goodness!!!!!!!! Impossible to believe! i have a friend due in April and that just seems incredible.

Like Amy said in the other thread- I am due at the end of Nov.- so I feel like I have 7-8 more weeks left- but some mamas here are due at the beginning of Nov/end of Oct so it is possible that in just a couple more weeks we'll have some BABY announcements!

This is so cool! I can't wait for the birth stories to start rolling in!

Off to lurk in Oct.!

For me, out time can't come soon enough :LOL . I have been more than ready for a long time. My son won't lay off my rib and his head is already on my pelvic bone so I feel like I have to pee even though my bladder is empty. I can't wait. I am due on the 3rd so I am hoping that i will actually be an October mom. :D We shall see - i can't wait :throb

I am not in any rush to give birth. I just don't know what to expect since it's my first time. I cannot believe that all the books, videos, bith classes, etc have really prepared me for what it's going to FEEL like. I can only imagine. I still have a lot of reading that I would like to do and a few more supplies to get before I will feel more confident. Honestly, I am looking forward to the surprise.

I am trying to trust...myself, my body, my baby, my god, my hubby, my MW.

We went on our hospital tour last night. It was absolutely fascinating & I am SOOO SO relieved & excited to be delivering there. I wanted a "as close to delivering at home" feeling as possible, & this hospital is all for it. No interventions, baby stays with me every second, birthing balls, jacuzzis & squatting bars in every room, a kitchen around every corner stocked with drinks & munchies for laboring women....... OMG it was dreamy. And THEN we saw the few babies in the nursery (only there because they were actually having health problems), & I nearly started laughing & sobbing at the exact same moment. I am just SO excited that I am doing this again. It's been a long time since I had a teeny baby, my kids are 14 & 7, and I didnt' think I would get to do this again. And the looks & comments from my amazing & loving & excited-beyond-the-sky DP made me fall in love with him again & again every 5 minutes. :love

This post is pretty rambly & pretty much TOTALLY OT, I just wanted to squeal once again about how excited I am & how every single thing that reminds me of how close we are to delivering our babies fills me with such emotion! I've been lurking in ALLLLLL the DDC ahead of us ever since we conceived. I suck up every single birth story posted in them. Um, I am totally obsessed.

Ok, I am done babbling aimlessly now. :blah :throb

My last baby was due March 7th and I had him January 30th. I skipped right over any February due dates. :flipped

My 1st baby was due Sept 6th but was born on Aug 1st. :nut

Oh, & duh, I meant to say I've been lurking on all the ddc AHEAD of us, not behind us. I'm going to see if I can edit that. :duh

How totally exciting!!! I won't really let myself say that I'm ready to go yet because even though I'm 35 weeks I could realistically still be pregnant another 7 weeks.... but I can honestly say I can feel my body preparing.
BH have been becoming more intense and I'm already a cm or 2 dialated. My cervix is soft and floppy too. :p So realistically I could be an October mama too and have a baby in the next couple weeks.
I had my first REAL contraction last night while cooking dinner. And we just got our birth kit in the mail yesterday too... so we are officially prepared. I did that sobbing/laughing thing, zjande, when I saw the newborn cap in the kit. :love
:heartbeat I'd like to go early but I'm okay waiting too.
