OK- so I am probally overreacting-....
I am having dull aches that come and go in my tummy- lower.
It does not feel like ligiments stretching.
I went into labor in the hospital with ds. I am only 30 weeks along.
I am so scared I am shaking.
Dh and I got into a big fight- and I worry that I stressed myself into labor.
What would contractions feel like early on= and this could probally just be false labor pains right.

This might be Braxton-Hicks contractions (normal, not dangerous, but uncomfortable uterine contractions during mid-late pregnancy.)
Do the contractions slow down when you rest and have something to eat and drink? Generally, BH contractions will slow down or stop when you rest and eat and drink, real labor keeps going no matter what.

I do not know- at this point I have not relaxed...

If you're in doubt, you might want to go to the ER and get checked out.
I just read your other post- :Hug It souds to me like your DH is emotionally abusive.

I know- it does to me too...
I am just in tears and I have known this for too long and not got out-
I just want to go home and move in with my friend. I am so sad. I really had hope.
See I have been playing this game- this lets wait till this happens and see how it goes.
If we get a better car- if we move from Virginia- if we move from Kentucky- if we can buy a house-
Well the house was the last straw......
we bought the house- and things are the same. I can not do anything right- and he does what he wants.
I have never intentionally made him feel bad about himself- and he knows just how to push my buttons and does it often.
The other day I paid a friend to watch ds- since I am having all the High bp problems- and he said- well why don't you clean the house.
My house is clean- I vaccuum every few days- sweep daily- dishes- clothes put up- laundry.... I try to keep clutter to a minimum. He just likes to keep me feeling bad- and trying= but then he raises the bar- and i am crushed again.
I think I am going to leave him.
I really wanted a homebirth- but I know things will not get better when the baby comes- only worse.
I will once again REALLy not be able to keep up with the house-and he will hate me and not help.
I just had another ache,.

I couldn't read and not give you a :Hug I am so sorry for what you are going through mama. Please get yourself checked out at the hospital. Its better to be safe than sorry. I hope it is just BH contractions. Please keep us updated if you can. Sending lots of 'keep the baby in' vibes your way!

I think I am fine- I had some water- and they are gone now- for now.
I will go to bed and then see what is going on in the morning. I still am not sure they are contractions of any kind in the first place.
I really want someone to come take care of me tho....

Emile ~ Hugs sweetie! I ended my Pg with Natalie with High BP, came on in the last week. If you still feel bad after sleeping, on your left side, or you are swollen, dizzy or anything off, PLEASE go to the ER.

I had hbp in my last week with ds too.
This time I was hoping to homebirth- and NOT have this complication. HOwever It does not seem to be in my favor. I bought a blood pressure cuff and can take it- I just do not want to.
I will go and call my midwife if this persists.
I really am having a rough night-and I appreciate the support. I need to go to bed- but don't want to be alone. I feel so alone.

I also wanted to say that they do not hurt- they just ache. and for just a short time. I do not remember what it was like with ds.
I think I am upset and freaking out over nothing. I hope.
I know dh is going to act like it is no big deal in the morning- ( our fight) but I just can not let that go on.... or can I.
I do not want to take ds away from him-and my only other option would be living 6 hours away from here with a friend... and I would hate to do that to ds and dh.
I just do not know how to get it thru dh's head that he has to respect me.
And give up on this immaculate house shit- give it up- it is not going to happen.
I hate it- I grew up never being good enough- and he loves to prove that to me all the time- and then says- you think I am your dad!!! No- I think you are you- treating me like shit.

Do me a favor, go take your BP and post it. I went from a 110/70 to a 166/110 and ended up having Natalie 2 weeks earlier then I expected. I didn't even realize it, but I had developed HELLP and still have complications from it.

143/90
It has been in the 140- even 150 before- and midwife is not worried.
It normally has not gone above 80 tho.
Please if you have info on what this means- how it affects me and baby please let me know. I want to trust the midwife- but I worry she is being over optimistic.
yesterday I had it down to the 130's.

OK that is in the hypertension range, so please go lay on your left side.
http://www.healthsystem.virginia.edu/uvahealth/peds_hrpregnant/hellp.cfm
What are the symptoms of HELLP syndrome?
The following are the most common symptoms of HELLP syndrome. However, each woman may exhibit experience symptoms differently. Symptoms may include:
right-sided upper abdominal pain or pain around the stomach
nausea, vomiting
headache
increased blood pressure
protein in the urine
edema (swelling)
The symptoms of HELLP syndrome may resemble other medical conditions, including pregnancy-induced hypertension. Always consult your physician for a diagnosis.
Now I had 3 of these symptoms when I went to the hospital, actually 4 with the BP. But thruthfully had no clue I even had it until they ran my blood work.
I am not trying to scare you, just help you, I PROMISE!

well- the midwife is coming today- I have a list of herbs to take.
Dh seems to have gotten on board today- when I made it very clear- a premature baby is not something I was willing to fool around with.
He said he will be here when she comes- he is at work- and if he does not make it he wants to call her....
So we will see.
It is still high this morning.

Emilie -
Hope you are feeling better. Please take a moment and check out the pre-eclampsia sticky on the "I'm Pregnant" board - lots of wonderful information about Mama's with high BP - nothing to take lightly, especially when your baby's life is on the line!
Hope you can take time to relax today! Please keep us updated as to your midwife visit!

Midwife came- she feels that it is stress related. So- she talked to dh about giving me at least an hour in the morning alone and an hour or two in the evening alone-
So last night he obliged and I took at epsom salt bath for about 40 minutes. It was so nice!!
Ds and he had a wonderful time and I look forward to incorporating that into our daily routine!
My bp was 125/80 this morning.
I took all the vitamins- and am hoping it will stay down all day- but I am not going to take it but once a day in the am.
Thank you for all your concern. I am also making a dr appt with the back up dr today.
