We got our amnio results back this afternoon and they were good! No problems identified! (We had a bad quad screen score, so we weren't sure what was up, tho the counselor indicated my age - 42 by February - had a lot to do with the score b/c the ultrasound looked good.) They also confirmed for sure that it's a girl.
We called our families tonight to tell everyone the good news - they didn't even know we were pregnant yet. I still have to tell my sister, but she is in Germany for a few months for her DH's work so I can't call yet due to time zones. She knows we're pg but not the gender.
I felt such a load off somehow once the nurse told me, I didn't realize how much the uncertainty was bothering me. :) :) :) :) :)
Now we will be done, 2 kids is it for us. And onto naming... there's a challenge.
