...anyone care to join me?? :LOL
I was due to start my period on Thursday, but woke up feeling funny this morning so I took a pregnancy test and it was..
:+
According to my LMP and a due date calculator, I am due on June 1st.
I am still in a bit of a state of shock! Ds just turned 1 yesterday. I guess Mommy got a birthday present too. :bouncy
Hopefully some other ladies will join this thread soon!

Tara - I know! Where does the time go? I hope it keeps flying and you'll be holding your new little one soon (but not too soon ;) ). :love
Thanks Stacey! I would absolutely love to be a June mom!! :) I love that you stopped in!
Welcome Heather! I've now tested 5 times myself since the 21st! And I'm not usually a compulsive tester either! It's great to have you and Congratulations!
WitchyMama2 and MyLittleWonders - I can't think of your names. :innocent I really love to talk to people by their real first names - it's so much more personal.. but anyway.
W.Mama2 - Congratulations on your little girl!! I bet January can't come soon enough! It's great to see you again!!
MyLittleWonders - Thank you so much for the prayers - I know that the Lord's will be done but I can't help but hope it will be a healthy 9lb baby born this time! :throb

Hey Jenn ... no problem. It had been in my siggy for quite a while, but I got into simplifying, which included my siggy line for a while. I went ahead and changed it though. :)
How often is Nathan nursing now? I think he's just a little older than Aaron - my second. Even though there are times I'm annoyed with what seems to be incessant nursing (especially at night), I'm hoping that he is able to nurse throughout my pregnancy (hoping it truly is a positive pregnancy ... I always feel better once I get to my ob). He definitely doesn't seem to have any interest in weaning himself anytime soon, so I'm hoping he doesn't end up weaning because of issues with milk supplies during pregnancy (I'm also hoping my ob is cool with continuing to nurse. I have had one m/c, but it seems like it was something completely out of my control, and that was before Aaron, so hopefully she won't see any reason to need to wean).

Hey Heidi! How are you doing? How are Mr. Heidi and the kids doing? What's new? We just moved to Maryland a month ago - really like it here! Dh is completely overwhelmed by med school. Have made an AP-mama friend who is the spouse of one of the students in dh's class. Yay!
MyLittleWonders - Yes, I am still nursing. My little one just turned one on Monday. I am wondering if my milk supply will hold up. Doesn't it diminish when you get pg??

I'm hanging in there - Mr H went back to work in July, back on active duty w/the fire dept a couple of weeks ago, and physically he's doing great. His recovery has been nothing short of miraculous, Paise God.
The kids are doing well...DD still has a lot of pstd and fears about the dark & driving past the scene of the accident (which we do often, since it's en route to my mom's), but she's bravely dealing with it all. DS seemed to work through all of his emotions with a school project on drunk driving, complete with enlarged photos of [what was left of] our car. I understand he made a pretty big impact on his classmates; which is good, since they'll all be turning sixteen in the next year.
Mr H and I were able to meet the mom of the drunk driver recently. I think it was a big healing moment for us all....a lot of tears were shed and many hugs exchanged. The driver plea bargained (no big surprise, here in NY :irked: ) and received a sentence of 1-3 years; she's currently in state prison serving her time.
I sent my baby off to kindergarten this year! :bawl I'll be 40 on "our" birthday! :scared My oldest is a SOPHMORE! :eek
I'm filling my newly lonely days with fall cleaning, [long overdue] organizing, and sewing. I'm training for Eucharistic outreach ministry at the local hospital, and I'm also getting involved in ministry at the county jail - we have a couple in our parish who hold a prayer & communion service for, then have lunch with, the women in the county jail every Friday.
I am wondering if my milk supply will hold up.
It will, don't worry. Eat lots of oatmeal!
Keri and I have both nursed through a pgy and tandem nursed. You can do it!
Speaking of Keri - she is in Houston, riding out Hurricane Rita w/her family. Please keep them in prayer.

I conceived right after stopping the Pill, so I'm not really sure about my EDD. I actually just went through some serious hell with an incorrect ectopic dx and an uneccessary surgery, but what they thought was a bleeding ectopic was just my corpus luteum. So they closed me up and it looks the pregnancy is going to survive the trauma. I have an ultrasound on Monday to try and figure out what's happening in there.
Jenn, I'm so thrilled for you. :sticky for both of us!
Aww, thanks Jessica - I'm trying to think of an original way to say how much it means to have you say that but I keep repeating myself from the above posts. :innocent

The timing could be right...if we conceived on this cycle I'd be due June 14th. It's still *way* to early to tell anything...I just O'd yesterday (I think). I've been so excited for you, I've been praying that this little one holds on! I've also been praying (a little selfishly) that maybe we might be pregnant again at the same time!
I've missed you on the PABL thread...I'll just keep checking in here to see how you're doing! :love

I am here too, but still in hiding. I am not at a place just yet where I am ready to accept that I may actually end up getting a baby out of this pregnancy. I am a pretty optimistic person, but I have had too many false starts. Should probably go to the lab tomorrow for an hCg and progesterone test....good times! Certain to be fun with 3 kids in tow!
By my calculations I should be due 6/10, but I won't be adding that to my sig. just yet! Take care!

I'll join in too. My estimated O day puts me due in June, but my babes tend to make their own due dates up... I've had the same due date with both, but they were born a month apart. :-)
BTW, I've nursed through a pregnancy and tandem nursed until May of this year... and it looks like I'll be doing it again. It certainly can be done!

Hi LAdies, Can I join in?
DH and I have been trying for 4 months and this morning I tested :+
so we are very excited!!
We have a DD who will be 4 the week the baby is due. The baby is due June 1st but I tend to go early so it might be May. My DD came on our 5 yr anniversary so that probably will happen again!!

Smithie - Oh thank you!
Jessica - Well I made it past when my period was due so that's a good thing. I normally have a 12 day lp but to be on the safe side I was figuring it at 14 days and then I had to wait through day 15 because that's when af would have come so today is 16 dpo - milestone #1. ;)
The last baby died around 5.5 weeks.. the others around 7.5 and 8.5 so I'll have to wait through those as well and without any medical care. But perhaps not having insurance at this moment is better - I don't have to get nervous about appointments or results but instead keep my jealousy in check when I hear others reporting back! lol
There's nothing I want more than for your to join me! I can't help it, I love posting with you and talking with you. I wanted to cheer you on at the TTCAL thread but I know it's better to be quiet. In retrospect I could have pm'd you! lol :innocent Anyway - I'll be watching and waiting and hoping and praying for you. God knows our hearts desires and as long as they line up in His will then He wants to give us every one of them! I'm really praying that His will is a pregnancy without loss for you this month!! :throb

Today's ultrasound proved that DESPITE the wonders of modern medicine, my baby is alive and well in there. Ectopic, my aunt fanny. The gestational sac is very well positioned in my uterus, at exactly the spot where I saw a dot last Wednesday and they said, "oh, that's just a dot of fluid, now hurry up and get to the ER because you are about to die." :irked:
EDD 06/01. Planning a homebirth with the same midwife who delivered ds in a freestanding center. We're so thrilled!

Good news, Smithie! I decided I should post in June, too. My due date is actually May 28, but I was 9 days late with ds #1, plus my cycle was way off the month we conceived, so I'm thinking it's probably going to be a June baby.

Congrats, Smithie! Wonderful news.
My good news is that I had a positive blood test at 12 DPO, with an hCg level of 43. Hoping for doubling tomorrow. Cautiously optimistic after numerous m/c's and chemical pregnancies, but very hopeful!

Well, I took another test today and of course it was positive. I'm six days past when AF was due, but I first tested positive so early that dh and I wanted to wait awhile to take another test just to make sure before we told our parents. We called my Mom this morning and his parents tonight and everyone is thrilled.
I got pretty nauseous around 4 this afternoon - not looking forward to the morning sickness kicking in over the next week or so....

Crampy is normal- I've had it with both sons and this pregnancy too... As far as the bleeding, I don't have any personal experience but have certainly heard of people spotting and going on to have a healthy baby. Though, of course, if it increases I'd probably call in the reinforcments (Dr, midwife, whatever). Good luck!!
