What are you doing for Halloween?

I love the fall! I love Halloween! And I loooove dressing up! I guess I never grew out of it! In my area, it is so miserably hot in the summer, that I revel in the crisp autumn air ;).

This year, I have a renaissance/ princessy dress thing with an empire waist to accomadate my belly. However, I think I want to accentuate my growing belly. I was thinking of dressing up all in black (except for my belly) and painting my belly up as a jack o' lantern. Or, I could dress up like a farmer's wife (DH would be the farmer guy) and paint my belly like a pumpkin or watermelon. It doesn't get that cold in the evening, and we will likely be either at a party or ToTing with tiny ones, so my belly won't be in the weather for very long! ;)

So...what are you dressing up as for Halloween?

Fall is my favorite time of year!! :)

But.. I think this Halloween, it's likely that I'll be attending a birth, so no trick or treating for me. That's ok, I'll be getting a treat anyway! :)

Tara--I love doing stuff with my preggo belly!!! we have waited so long for this one, we have to include him in our festivities!!! :D
Note: Make sure to check out the thread in pregnancy too. I guess we were both thinking the same thing :D!!!

For the record, since I don't have any pictures currently, I am MUCH bigger than that right now and two weeks ago when I was 21 wks, I was bigger than that already ;)

Yes, there is another Hallowe'en thread on here somewhere.... I love this time of year and LOVE Hallowe'en! While pg with DD 2 yrs ago, I went to a holiday party as Miss Conception (tiara, sash with big letters spelling out Miss Conception, tied the sash under the waist to accent the belly, etc). Might work with your fancy dress. Enjoy the season!! :love

Ooooh, we love fall! I can't wait for Halloween. We usually take the boys trick or treating than to a party afterward. We will do the same this year.
I would like older son to be a cowboy, since I found a cute costume in a catalog. Not sure for the little one, I saw a cute fish costume.
Tomorrow we are going to the apple orchard with our moms group at church. DH and I are planning on going to a corn maze, a pumpkin patch, a wild bird sanctuary and much more! I am very excited for fall!

I saw the cutest lobster/ crawdad outfit at Babies R Us!!! Too bad I wasn't due in Sept! I could get it for next year, but it doesn't have any feet, and although he most likely won't be walking, he will want his feet free. Ah well :D

Love the "Miss Conception" costume! :LOL I might have to steal that one! We are dressing up DS for the first time this year, and I am so excited. We're still not too sure what we want to dress him as. A lot of the costumes look too hot, and then he won't wear anything on his head for very long, so I'm thinking of making him a costume. Either a spider: black shirt/pants with stuffed socks sewn on the sides to make legs, or Charlie Brown, and I'd just have to sew a black zig-zag on a yellow shirt. He already had the Charlie Brown head - almost no hair still!
